MODULAR FLOTATION DEVICE WITH MECHANISM TO REMOVABLY ATTACH TO OTHER MODULAR DEVICES

One or more embodiments disclosed herein relate generally to flotation devices, and more specifically to modular flotation devices with a mechanism to removably attach to other modular devices. In one embodiments, an apparatus includes a first flotation module and a first connector coupled to the first flotation module. The first connector has a first end portion, a second end portion and a sidewall extended from the first end portion to the second end portion. The sidewall defines a plurality of circumferentially defined stepped portions configured to matingly engage a second connector of a second flotation module to couple the first flotation module to the second flotation module. The first connector is selectively operative as one of a female connector or a male connector with respect to the second connector.

Flexible self-locking valve

An inflatable object has a curved section, and an improved valve featuring a flexible chute that has an inner edge connected to said inflatable object and is rollable and unrollable between a rolled-up closed position and an unrolled open position. The inner edge is connected to said inflatable object along said curved section at a location and orientation operable to use pressure inside said inflatable object to resist unrolling of said flexible chute from the rolled-up closed position, thereby imparting a self-locking functionality to the valve.

A fluid throwing apparatus with a base that is made from substantially fluid-tight flexible material. A handle is attached to the base, at least a portion of the handle being flexibility, which when attached to the base causes the base to form into a cup or scoop shape when it is at least partially filled with a fluid. When thrown, the fluid is carried by the base and then released. In another embodiment the edge/rim of the base could be attached to a player and, when thrown, the attachment would pull back on an edge/rim of the base to release the fluid.
