The invention relates to a method for producing a metal strip (1) in a continuous casting and rolling process, in which a slab is first cast in a casting machine and is then fed to a finishing rolling mill situated downstream in the direction of feed (F) of the strip (1), where it is rolled. According to the invention, in order to enable the recycling of scrap while achieving a compact design, the following steps are performed in the event of a planned or unplanned production interruption in the finishing rolling mill: a) cutting through the strip (1) at a point (4) between the casting machine (2) and the finishing rolling mill by means of a cutting device (5); b) feeding the part of the strip (1) that follows the cut into a strip store (6) by means of a driver (7), the driver (7) being situated downstream of the cutting device (5) in the direction of feed (F); c) cutting through the strip (1) a second time by means of the cutting device (5) and cutting the following part of the strip (1) into pieces by means of the cutting device (5); d) cutting the stored strip section into pieces, preferably of a defined length. The invention further relates to an apparatus for carrying out the method.

FLIGHT SIMULATOR AND METHOD FOR FLIGHT SIMULATION

A flight simulator and flight simulation method, comprising a simulator cabin provided on a parallel kinematic device, wherein the simulator cabin has a maximum positive pitch position, in which the roll axis, proceeding from a horizontal direction, is inclined upwardly as far as possible within the range of the kinematic capabilities of the parallel kinematic device, while observing whatever control reserves that might be provided, and the operator is resultantly inclined toward the back, and wherein the first pitch angle is greater than 25.

COILER DEVICE PROVIDED WITH CHUTE ROLLER

Adopted is a coiler device (1) that is provided with a chute roller (50) and has: pinch rollers (10a, 10b) that lead a metal sheet carried in along a path line (L1) to a coil-up line (L2) that is curved from the path line (L1); a mandrel (20) that coils the metal sheet and is disposed ahead of the coil-up line (L2); and a chute roller (50) that exposes at least the leading end of the metal sheet to the coil-up line (L2) when being wound to the mandrel (20), and suppresses deformation of the metal sheet such that same bends to the upward facing surface side.

COILER DEVICE AND GATE DEVICE PROVIDED WITH GUIDE UNIT

This gate device is provided with a guide unit having a guide section that is disposed at the downstream side of pinch rollers at a path line along which a metal sheet is conveyed, opens/closes a coil-up line that is curved from the path line, and guides the upwards-facing surface side of the metal sheet led in to the coil-up line. A configuration is adopted such that the guide unit has a main body frame and a liner that is attached to the main body frame, forms at least a portion of the second guide surface that guides the metal sheet, has a lower coefficient of friction than the main body frame, and has a lower hardness than that of the metal sheet.

COILER DEVICE PROVIDED WITH CHUTE GUIDE

This coiler device provided with a chute guide has: pinch rollers that lead a metal sheet carried in along a path line to a coil-up line that is curved from the path line; a mandrel that is disposed ahead of the coil-up line and coils up the metal sheet; and a chute guide that guides the upward-facing surface side of the metal sheet at the coil-up line and introduces the metal sheet to the coil-up opening of the mandrel. A configuration is adopted such that the chute guide has: a main body frame; and a liner that is attached to the main body frame, forms at least a portion of the guide surface that guides the metal sheet, has a lower coefficient of friction than the main body frame, and has a lower hardness than the metal sheet.
