A roller cage for a profiling line, comprising: a support frame (F1); a first motor equipped with a first substantially horizontal spindle (12) that projects in a cantilever fashion externally to a shoulder (S1) of the support frame (F1) into an operating space of the line; a first transverse roller (13), assembled directly on the first spindle (12); a movable frame (F2), with which an upright first roller (33) is associated, rotating about a first shaft (32) which projects in a cantilever fashion from the movable frame (F2); the movable frame (F2) is movable between an operating position, in which the first shaft (32) assumes a substantially vertical position, and a non-operating position, in which the first shaft (32) assumes a substantially horizontal position and is facing the same way as the first spindle (12), towards the operating space of the line.

The assembly table can include a central support base; a plurality of arms attached to the central support base; a secondary support member attached to each arm configured to provide support for and give height to the assembly table when in use; and a centering guide attached to each arm, the centering guide configured to receive a bottom portion of a partial shell, the centering guide located at a predetermined location of its own arm.
Apparatus and method for the continuous and progressive shaping of metal strips to give a profile with longitudinally varying cross section
Disclosed herein is an apparatus for the continuous and progressive shaping of metal strips to produce a formed metal strip whose cross sectional dimensions vary along a longitudinal axis thereof. The apparatus includes a device for shaping the metal strips, wherein the device has at least one tool set with at least two rotatably mounted and mutually associated tools, wherein the tools each have a pressure face disposed along an outer circumference thereof with a contour configured to shape the workpieces. The contour of the pressure face of at least one tool is not axially symmetric. In order to be able to cost-effectively produce workpieces or profiles with a variable cross section, in particular profiles with a closed cross section, it is proposed that the contours of the pressure faces of all tools, but at least of one tool set, are concave in order to generate a profile having a closed cross section.

SPINDLE FOR A BALL SCREW AND METHOD FOR PRODUCING SAME
The invention relates to a method for producing a spindle for a ball screw, including the following steps:introducing, at least in sections, a thread profile into a flat material section,shaping the material section to a hollow cylindrical case, two lateral edges of the hollow cylindrical case abutting each other and the thread profile being oriented radially outwards,connecting the two lateral edges of the hollow cylindrical case, andforming, at least in sections, a supporting structure on a radially inner face of the hollow cylindrical case to finish the spindle. A spindle for a ball screw in hybrid design can thus be manufactured in a simple manner. The spindle can be produced cost-effectively and yet has high wear resistance and excellent mechanical load-bearing capacity as well as light weight. The invention further relates to a spindle manufactured according to the invention, for use in a ball screw.
Systems and methods for forming a pipe carcass using multiple strips of material
The present embodiments are directed to systems and methods for forming a pipe carcass. In one embodiment, a first series of forming rollers are configured for forming a primary carcass strip material. A second series of forming rollers are configured for forming a second strip material into a shape different than the primary carcass strip material. The primary carcass strip material and the second strip material, after being fed through the first and second series of rollers, respectively, are each fed concurrently into a plurality of winding rolls for assembly with one another.
Systems and methods for forming a pipe carcass using multiple strips of material
The present embodiments are directed to systems and methods for forming a pipe carcass. In one embodiment, a first series of forming rollers are configured for forming a primary carcass strip material. A second series of forming rollers are configured for forming a second strip material into a shape different than the primary carcass strip material. The primary carcass strip material and the second strip material, after being fed through the first and second series of rollers, respectively, are each fed concurrently into a plurality of winding rolls for assembly with one another.

Disclosed is a flexible roll forming device including: bases respectively disposed on opposite sides with respect to a process direction center line in a left/right direction, each having an opening formed in an upper side thereof connected to an inside thereof, and rails configured thereon on opposite sides of the opening in a lateral direction of the process; forward/backward moving cyclinder having a slide plate provided to be movable along the rails on the base; turning reducer rotatably provided to the slide plate; and upper and lower forming rolls provided on the turning cylinder for subjecting a material fed thereto to flexible roll forming by using the upper and lower forming rolls while varying positions in the lateral direction of processing with the forward/backward moving cylinder, and angles from a process direction with the turning reducer.

The electric resistance welded steel pipe includes a seam region and a base metal region, the seam region having a range of 10 degrees in a pipe circumferential direction with respect to an electric resistance welded seam formed in a pipe longitudinal direction, the base metal region being a region other than the seam region. The electric resistance welded steel pipe has an r-value in the pipe longitudinal direction of 1.0 or greater, H (mm) and W (mm) satisfy a specified formula, and Ts.sub.(MAX) (mm) and Tb.sub.(Ave) (mm) satisfy a specified formula.
