High Speed Blow Forming Process to Shape Aluminum Containers Using 3xxx Alloys with High Recycle Content
Provided herein is a high-speed blow forming process for shaping aluminum containers using 3xxx can body stock alloys with high recycled content, as well as articles made by that process. A process for shaping aluminum containers as described herein includes the sequential steps of blanking out a disk from a sheet of a 3xxx series aluminum alloy; forming a bottle preform by drawing redrawing, ironing and doming the disk, placing the preform into a mold cavity, applying an axial load to the preform; and injecting an inert gas into the interior of the preform with sufficient pressure until the preform expands to fill the mold cavity.
Method for blow molding metal containers
A method is disclosed for pressure forming a metal preform including shock annealing of the preform and subsequently preheating the preform prior to pressure forming. Shock annealing may be carried out as differential shock annealing in which different regions of the preform are annealed to different degrees. Preheating may be carried out by differentially preheating, optionally shock preheating, different regions of the preform for preheating at least those regions of the preform which will be subject to elevated expansion during pressure forming. Shock annealing by induction heating can lower energy consumption, reduce processing times and allow for larger expansion of the preform.

METHOD OF PRODUCING HOLLOW OBJECTS AND AN ARRANGEMENT FOR SUCH METHOD
A method of, and arrangement for, producing shaped hollow metal objects by a hot process. A metal hollow semi-finished-product with at least one opening is heated to a forming temperature and placed into a cavity, whose shape corresponds to the desired final external shape of the hollow object. Then the cavity is sealed and water and/or steam is introduced therein. After the final shape of the semi-finished-product is achieved, the semi-finished-product is removed. The cavity is formed by a split mould, whose opening's entry edge has an expanded portion, against which a sealing feature is oriented. The outer surface of the sealing feature is arranged to close against this expanded portion. The sealing feature is also provided with a means of supply of water and/or steam, and a tube through which the water and/or steam is supplied. This tube extends into the interior space of the semi-finished-product, and can be provided with nozzles.
Impact extrusion can making system
Disclosed is an impact extrusion can making system that uses induction heating to preheat an extruder punch and an extruder forming die, to increase yield during a cold start. In addition, a highly precise laser measuring device is used to measure dome thickness, so that stroke length and/or position of an extruder and/or extrusion die can be automatically adjusted in a predictive control system. High quality products with high yield are produced using these techniques.

FABRICATING A ONE_PIECE METAL VEHICLE WHEEL BY HYDRO FORMING METHOD
Hydro forming method for constructing a piece of vehicle wheel rims. The whole process will be implemented in seven stages. As the first station of raw sheet by the form Stretch a piece of cylindrical internal diameter sized the smallest inner diameter and the 1.6 height rim and this diameter is larger than the outer rim diameter. Secondly outer rim diameter cylindrical piece is the desired size trim. In the third and main stage action takes place hydro forming cylindrical piece by piece into a specific form of work (work piece) with no Punches final form and elasticity are required.
SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR ELECTROMAGNETIC FORMING OF CONTAINERS
Systems and methods of forming articles using electromagnetic radiation are disclosed. In some aspects, the system includes a plurality of forming modules movably mounted relative to an infeed mechanism. The infeed mechanism is configured to supply pre-form articles to the plurality of forming modules, and each of the plurality of forming modules includes a multi-segment mold disposed about an electromagnetic coil. The electromagnetic coil is configured to impart an electromagnetic force on the pre-form articles when supplied with electrical energy that urges the pre-form articles into contact with the multi-segment mold to produce the formed containers.

Method for manufacturing container and apparatus for manufacturing container
A manufacturing a container makes it possible to easily manufacture a container including a body portion with a shape that expands outward toward an upper face side. A method for manufacturing a container according to the disclosure is a method for manufacturing a container made of metal, including a bottom portion and a body portion, open on the upper face side, and having a shape in which the body portion expands outward toward the upper face side. The method includes a bottom drawing step of reducing a diameter of a cup body made of metal and having a bottomed cylindrical shape by operating a diameter reducing die having a hole portion with a smaller diameter than an outer diameter of the cup body along a cylindrical axis direction from a bottom side, in which the bottom drawing step is repeated a plurality of times.
