An assemblable cooling fin assembly includes a plurality of cooling fins. Each of the cooling fins includes a base plate, a first side plate, a second side plate and a first engaging protrusion. The base plate has a first engaging slot. The first side plate and the second side plate are respectively connected to two opposite sides of the base plate. The first engaging protrusion has a connecting end and a deformable end opposite to each other. The connecting end is connected to the first side plate. In addition, the first engaging protrusion of one of the plurality of cooling fins is disposed through the first engaging slot of another one of the plurality of cooling fins, and the deformable end of the first engaging protrusion is deformed so as to become wider than the first engaging slot.

This disclosure relates to methods and apparatuses for production of a workpiece. A first workpiece part is cut free from a first plate-shaped material by a separating cut made via the punch-handling tool. The first workpiece part is held in at least one of a clamped manner and tensioned manner via at least one of an upper tool and a lower tool of a punch-handling tool while being cut free. The workpiece part is aligned with the first plate-shaped material, a further plate-shaped material that differs from a material of the first workpiece part, and a second workpiece part and the aligned pieces are clinching with a clinch tool to connect the pieces at a connection point that is free from a filler material.

A riveting structure and a riveting method are provided. The riveting structure includes a first metal element and a second metal element. The first metal element includes a first upper surface, a pressure-receiving portion and a recess portion. The recess portion is recessed from the first upper surface. The pressure-receiving portion is protruded from a surface of the recess portion. The second metal element includes a second lower surface and a protrusion portion and has a through hole. The protrusion portion is protruded from the second lower surface and correspondingly disposed in the recess portion. The through hole penetrates the second metal element via a central part of the protrusion portion. The pressure-receiving portion is correspondingly received in the through hole and is adapted to be pressed and deformed to be riveted to the through hole.

A method of forming a car battery tray, the method includes continuously roll-forming a first sheet of metal into a bottom tray, the bottom tray having a first compartment with side walls and to receive a first battery, and the bottom tray having an opening formed into one of the side walls; and continuously roll-forming a second sheet of metal into a top tray, the top tray having a protrusion to engage with the opening of the bottom tray; the bottom tray and top tray connect to secure the first battery in place; the bottom tray and top tray form the car battery tray.
METHOD FOR JOINING MEMBERS
In the present invention, a method for joining members involves preparing a steel component having a bottom wall in which a hole is provided, and a hollow aluminum pipe. The aluminum pipe is slipped through the hole in the steel component and passed through the bottom wall, rubber is inserted into the interior of the aluminum pipe, and the rubber is compressed in the direction of the axis (L) of the aluminum pipe and induced to distend towards the outside from the inside. As a result of the foregoing, at least a section of the aluminum pipe slipped through the hole is induced to undergo expansion and is joined by clinching to the bottom wall. This method for joining members reduces the load on the members, improves the joint strength, and enables two members to be joined at reduced cost.
METHOD FOR JOINING MEMBERS
In the present invention, a method for joining members involves preparing a steel component having a bottom wall in which a hole is provided, and a hollow aluminum pipe. The aluminum pipe is slipped through the hole in the steel component and passed through the bottom wall, rubber is inserted into the interior of the aluminum pipe, and the rubber is compressed in the direction of the axis (L) of the aluminum pipe and induced to distend towards the outside from the inside.
