Active Air Animal Crates is an appliance for the housing and transportation of dogs, and other animals, with self-contained cooling fan affixed to the crate. Active Air Animal Crates is an active ventilation animal crate made of a durable plastic. The crate can be manufactured in various sizes. The crate appliance has self-contained fans, designed for active air movement to assist in cooling that helps keep animals cooler and more comfortable in warm surroundings. The fans used are electric fans of a 115-120 AC Voltage. The fan provides white noise to decrease surrounding environmental noise and aide in calming an animal. Both side panels of the crate incorporate cut-out slots of Active Air Animal Crates trademarked logo and spiral decorative cut-outs to allow air circulation.

Air duct systems and methods of air flow control
10563887 · 2020-02-18 · ·

An air control system 20 and associated methods including a flexible duct 30 having air exit holes 40, 42 and a flexible liner 50, 60 sheet within the duct 30 and extending longitudinally along the duct, the liner 50 sheet having opposite longitudinal edges 52, 54 connected to the duct 30 along the longitudinal length of the duct 30, the liner 50 sheet being permeable in one aspect and regulating air flow through the exit holes 40, 42 when the sheet is pressed against the portion of the duct having the exit holes. The duct 30 may also have multiple liner sheets 50, 60 arranged end-to-end and/or layered in various duct segments such that the different liners may be independently controlled to regulate the outflow of air from the duct as desired. The duct having a liner which closes or inhibits air flow from the exit holes may also be rotated to accommodate use of a single duct for different seasons and where the internal liner adjusts to assist with the downward control of air flow based on alignment of various perforations with the different exits holes.

PROCESS FOR MAKING A STRAW MAT, STRAW MAT AND STRAW BARN

A method for producing a straw mat in a living space for livestock, in particular for sows and/or fattening pigs and/or piglets, confined in a straw pen, is disclosed. The method comprises the step of automatically and initially spreading straw, such as defibrated straw, into the living space up to a substantially uniform thickness (d) of the straw mat. Also disclosed is a straw pen and pen building in accordance with the disclosed method.

Animal house environment control system with multiple levels of redundancy

A climate control system is operated by receiving climate information from climate control input devices at one or more plugin modules. The climate information is communicated from the plugin modules to a main control unit, which determines operating instructions for climate output devices and air inlets. When it is detected that the main control unit is not operational, the control system switches to a standby control unit if so equipped. The climate information is then communicated from the plugin modules to the standby control unit. The standby control unit determines operating instructions for the climate output devices and air inlets based on the climate information. When it is detected that the standby control unit is also not operational, the plugin modules switch to an autonomous mode such that operating instructions for the climate output devices and air inlets are determined by the plugin modules.

Inlet frame and filter assembly including an inlet frame

A filter assembly including a rectangular inlet frame having a rectangular inlet opening configured to receive a primary filter and optionally a prefilter. The filter assembly may include a rectangular outlet frame and a housing body. The rectangular inlet frame may also be used as a housing by itself to support and house primary filters and prefilters. A gridwork including one or more grid dividers may be used in the rectangular inlet frame to provide 2 or more openings for receipt of filters.

METHOD AND CONTROL SYSTEM FOR CONTROLLING AN AGRICULTURAL INSTALLATION FOR SMALL LIVESTOCK FARMING AND/OR MEDIUM LIVESTOCK FARMING

A method for controlling an agricultural installation for small and medium livestock farming includes the steps of: acquiring at least one sensor signal of a sensor device of the agricultural installation configured for measuring a process or state variable in the agricultural installation; acquiring a plurality of further sensor signals from locally in the agricultural installation or from sensor devices distributed locally in another agricultural installation, wherein the distributed sensor devices are configured to measure process or state variables; storing the acquired sensor signals as cloud data in a cloud computing device; evaluating the sensor signal with an evaluation module, wherein the evaluation module is part of a control device of the agricultural installation and/or of a cloud computing device and wherein the evaluation takes at least a portion of the stored cloud data into consideration in order to verify the sensor signal in relation to the stored cloud data.

Cage assembly for animal test subjects

A cage assembly can have at least one enclosure. Each enclosure can have a floor defining a floor area having a major dimension and a cover having a bottom surface. A spacing between the bottom surface of the cover and the floor can define a cage height. At least one sidewall can extend between the floor and the cover. A ratio of the cage height to the major dimension of the floor area of each enclosure of the at least one enclosure can be at least 0.70.

Cage system comprising a climate control unit having a low flow vaporizer
10492461 · 2019-12-03 · ·

The invention relates to a cage system (15) for housing experimental animals which are to experience an environment different from that of a surrounding space (19). The cage system (15) comprises a climate control unit having a vaporizer (1) for generation of water into vapour. The vaporizer (1) comprises a vaporization chamber (4), and water is fed to the vaporization chamber (4) via a liquid supply tube (3). A surface tension breaking device (8) having an open structure is provided at the end (9) of the liquid supply tube (3) so that the water passes therethrough when flowing from the liquid supply tube (3) and into the vaporization chamber (4). Hereby water can be supplied to the vaporization chamber (4) without any significant formation of droplets in the vaporization chamber (4). The vaporizer (1) is used to supply a controllable and uniform flow of vapour to the cages (16) so that a desired humidity can be maintained.

Universal ventilated litter box assembly

The present disclosure is directed to devices and kits configured to displace noxious odors generated by pet waste or excrement from within pet waste receptacles, such as a litter box kept within the pet owner's living space or home to areas existing outside of such owner's living space via a preexisting window therein. More particularly, a flexible, elongated duct is coupled to an exhaust hole in any hooded litter box on one end, and on another end, coupled to an electrically powered fan and universal window vent panel. When the window vent panel is sealedly disposed in a window and the fan is powered on, noxious air within the receptacle is drawn through the exhaust opening in the enclosure, the duct, and an exhaust opening in the window vent panel to an outside of such window.
