System for controlled heating and ventilation of livestock structures
Disclosed is a system and method for controlling the environment of a broiler poultry structure interior utilizing a transpired solar collector and controllable vents, fans and sensors. In an embodiment, the incident angle of the transpired collector is adjusted to provide additional heat or shade as needed. In an embodiment of the system the Environmental Optimization System (EOS) provides a system for the intelligent control and monitoring the broiler poultry livestock structure environment through the utilization of a variety of environmental and livestock behavior sensors, apparatus for controlling the thermal collection and existing interior heating/air conditioning/ventilation (HVAC) systems, and Internet or cloud based intelligent control and monitoring capabilities of the system. In various embodiments central sensor data aggregation is utilized to provide improved optimization control for individual structures based on data from multiple structures.
Method of assembly of a modular sterile facility
A modular vivarium is assembled from pre-manufactured, transportable, sterile modules of distinct types, called pods. A hallway pod forms a spine, with cage-rack pods, ingress/egress pods and optional HVACPIT pods providing HVAC, power and IT services connected as spur pods to the hallway. Supplies and waste are also within modular pods. Temporary or single-use seals cover doorways during transit. Modules are joined or removed while maintaining sterility on both sides of the flush-to-wall doorway junction. A spur pod is sterilely connected to a hallway pod by aligning respective doors proximal, placing a seal between the pods around the doorways, sterilizing air between the pods, then removing the temporary seals from each doorway. Pods may be constructed from easily transportable ISO intermodal containers.
Devices and methods for managing animals in an enclosure
The invention comprises systems and methods for controlling environmental conditions within and/or around an animal enclosure. The systems and methods preferably comprise a climate control system and infrared sensors in a poultry house having a first climate and housing poultry having one or more measurable parameters such a temperature. The infrared sensors detect infrared light information emitted by a head and/or vent of poultry in the house. The climate control system processes the information to calculate an internal temperature of poultry and activates one or more climate conditioning devices in the house to change the first climate to a second climate determined by the detected information and/or calculated internal temperatures of the poultry. The systems and methods may be deployed in houses comprising thousands of poultry and one or more climate zones. The systems and methods may make one or more climate changes based on one or more different parameters.
PREMIXED UNDERGROUND VENTILATED HENHOUSE
A premixed underground ventilated henhouse includes a gable, a sidewall, a roof and a floor. An inner chamber is further provided in the middle of the henhouse. A partition is hermetically provided between the sidewall and an inner wall. An air inlet plate is provided between the two inner walls. A plurality of fans and a plurality of air inlet windows are uniformly provided on an inner roof. A plurality of wet curtains and an air vent are provided on the sidewall. Air outlet slots are uniformly provided on the inner wall. An underground exhaust bunker is provided under the floor. A vent pipe and a fan are provided on one side of the underground exhaust bunker. An air outlet is provided at an upper end of the vent pipe.
Floating partition and loft for a livestock shipping container
A shipping container for livestock having a plurality of walls, a container roof and a container floor enclosing an interior storage space. The front wall may include a container door and one or more of the sidewalls may be mounted with one or more column support plates that support web support plates. A floating partition, end wing, loft and feed troughs may be mounted with the web support plates. Additionally, the floating partition may be tilted inward to efficiently divide space and provide access to the loft. A catwalk may also be mounted with the floating partition.

ENVIRONMENTAL CONTROL APPARATUS FOR ANIMAL HOUSING FACILITIES
The present application is directed to an environmental control system for an agricultural animal housing facility. This system includes a plurality of air handling systems configured to deliver supply air to an agricultural animal housing facility, wherein each air handling system is configured to receive a portion of fresh air and a portion of recirculated internal air, and wherein each air handling system is configured to mix the fresh air and internal air and provide the resultant mixture to the agricultural animal housing facility as supply air. The plurality of air handling systems are configured to regulate a proportion of fresh air to internal air in response to an internal temperature of the agricultural animal housing facility.

A method for performing a learning cycle to determine a Start Temperature and a Stop Temperature for a PI loop algorithm is used for operating a climate control system (20) in an animal house (10). The climate control system has at least one climate control input device (21) and at least one heater device (23) and a climate control module (27) that receives input information from the at least one input device and controls the operation of the at least one heater device to regulate the climate in the animal house.

An environment cleaning system for an animal breeding house has an outside environment, a breeding house, an air covering, and a cleaning device. The breeding house is deposited in the outside environment. The air covering is deposited in the outside environment and is mounted around the breeding house. The air covering is used to buffer the air pressure between the outside environment and the breeding house. The cleaning device is deposited in the outside environment, is connected to the air covering and the breeding house, and has an air exchanging unit and at least one filtering unit. The air exchanging unit controls the relative pressure among the outside environment, the air covering, and the breeding house to provide a unidirectional air flowing effect, and the flowing direction of the air is based on the relative pressure between the breeding house and the air covering.
Behavioral and biometric testing system for animals
Examples relate to a behavioral and biometric testing system for animals that includes an electronic biometric testing device and a behavioral test management system. The electronic biometric testing device is attached to the animal and comprises a battery, a biometric recording component, a memory to store biometric data, and a wireless transmitter to transmit the biometric data. The behavioral test management system receives the biometric data and determines that a set of testing conditions has been satisfied, and automatically administers a test in response to the satisfaction of those testing conditions.
