Manifold collar for distributing fluid through a cold crucible

Disclosed are embodiments of a temperature regulated vessel and a fluid delivery device, and methods of use thereof. The vessel can be used in an injection molding apparatus and include one or more temperature regulating lines configured to flow a fluid or liquid within the body (e.g., to heat a cold device). The fluid delivery device is mounted in the apparatus and has a collar with an opening extending therethrough to sealingly mate with the vessel. A delivery channel is provided within the collar for directing an input flow of fluid into the vessel. An exit channel can also be provided within the collar for directing an output flow of the fluid from the vessel.

In particular, the casting mold device includes: i) a plurality of core pin assemblies mounted in the upper die to form the spark plug mounting portions and having cooling air flow paths formed therein, ii) a cooling unit installed on the upper die and including cooling air inlet portions and cooling air outlet portions respectively connected to the cooling air flow paths of the core pin assemblies, and iii) a sealing unit coupled to the cooling unit and the upper die to seal portions between the core pin assemblies and the cooling unit.

CASTING MOLD, INSERT FOR A CASTING MOLD, A CAST PART AND A CASTING METHOD THEREFOR

A metal casting method and a plastic injection molding method in which an insert is molded in molten material such that no molten material enters the interior of the insert. At the usage of a wire thread insert as insert this has the advantage that for example in an aluminum cast part thread holes can be produced already as part of the casting process. For this purpose, the present disclosure describes an the casting mold, the insert as well as the casting method.

Casting mold

Provided is a highly versatile casting mold in which weight and manufacturing cost can be reduced, and whereby flash can be suppressed. A plate-shaped base part having a flat attachment face to which a back face of a fixed-cavity mold is attached is provided to a fixed mold constituting a casting mold. A portion of the base part in contact with the back face of the fixed-cavity mold has an attachment part body for supporting the fixed-cavity mold, and a pressure increasing means for increasing the pressure imparted to the fixed-cavity mold via the attachment part body in a state in which the mold is closed.
