A play device includes an outer shell, a holding compound, and at least one activatable character concealed within the compound. The character has a resilient/elastomeric body and at least one appendage. The character may bend, stretch, and/or be compressed. The compound is capable of temporarily confining a character covered with the compound. The compound gradually releases the character from a deformed state within the compound to an un-deformed state. The outer shell holds the deformed character within the compound to prevent the character from progressing to an activated, undeformed state until the user is ready to activate the character by releasing the character from the outer shell. Spring forces associated with the resilient or elastomeric material of the character allows it to progress from the deformed state to the un-deformed state in which the character expands and at least a portion of the character breaks free from the compound.

A ball is provided forming an inside structure of the snow person, the ball having an inner and outer surface. The ball is a unitary work piece that is free and unconnected to other work pieces. An adhesion surface is disposed on the outer surface of the ball, the adhesion surface provided with nodules that extend away from the surface of the ball to adhere snow while the ball is rolled. Light units are integrated into the surface of the ball and having light emitting portions that extend away from the surface of the ball. A light output of the light units is selected to transmit light through a layer of snow. Connections between the light units situated within the ball connect the light units together.

A kit for making a slime baked good includes a kit container; a first simulated ingredient within a container contained within the kit container; a recipe card within the kit container; and a jar of slime within the kit container. A kit for making a slime baked good includes a simulated ingredient egg that comprises a clay yolk and a clear glue slime white; a simulated ingredient flour that comprises cornstarch; a simulated ingredient butter that comprises clay; and a simulated ingredient sugar that comprises plastic snow.

There is provided an apparatus and a method for producing a play compound and the play compound itself which, in one embodiment is a compound which sufficiently fluid to be pliable and is typically cold and slimy to the touch. The apparatus and a method provide a powder and liquid to a user, which can be a non-skilled person and thereby allow the mixing of the powder and liquid together by that person to form the play compound outside of a factory environment whilst ensuring that the play compound which is formed has the desired characteristics. Most typically the user which performs the mixing can be the end user, such as a child, who will play with the compound and so the formation of the play compound forms a new part of the play experience.

The present invention provides an improved non-Newtonian play material consisting essentially of a play slime material combined with a non-soluble fiber additive. The malleable material may adapted as any known malleable play material including binder, filler, fluid and a filler setting inhibitor. The non-soluble fiber may be a coarse or fine, long or short, polyester, silk or other similar or equivalent material. The fibers may be of different colors. The fibers may be of different textures or a combination of textures. The fibers may be incorporated in various amounts. The ratio of non-Newtonian fluid to fiber rations may be between about 2:1 to about 50:1 by weight. The use of one or more than one different color of fiber may be utilized. The resulting play material compound may be utilized in hand molding or manipulation in which substantial enjoyment and amusement is provided in the handling of the play material.

A snowman making apparatus having a hemispherical bowl element, wherein the bowl element has an open top, and an aperture at a base of the bowl element to facilitate collection of snow in the bowl element, via dragging the bowl element over a surface of snow. In a preferred embodiment, the snowman making apparatus comprises three bowl elements of differing sizes, for making a snowman comprising a base segment; a mid-section segment; and a head segment, of different sizes.

A fusible toy bead creating apparatus includes: a table including a first surface and a second surface opposite to the first surface and a receiver. The table has a plurality of penetration holes penetrating from the first surface to the second surface to allow fusible toy beads to be placed on the first surface. The receiver includes a receiving surface arranged to face the first surface of the table and configured to receive the fusible toy beads.

A fusible toy bead creating apparatus includes: a table including a first surface and a second surface opposite to the first surface and a receiver. The table has a plurality of penetration holes penetrating from the first surface to the second surface to allow fusible toy beads to be placed on the first surface. The receiver includes a receiving surface arranged to face the first surface of the table and configured to receive the fusible toy beads.

A modeling clay system with dynamic features. The dynamic features may include: moving, waving, and/or rotating appendages (e.g. arms or antennae), illuminated eyes, and a speaking module, and other types of movable, illuminating or sound playing items. The various dynamic features may be achieved through use of electronic modules configured to provide the desired function, that is, the electronic modules may be configured to perform one or more of move, illuminate, or provide audio. The modeling clay may be electrically conductive. During use, the electronic module may be inserted into the modeling clay such that the feature is powered and exhibits the respective function.

A kit for creating a miniature replica of a food or beverage item, the kit including a base object that forms a base of the miniature replica of the food or beverage item, the base object comprising a miniature replica of a component of the food or beverage item, a resin container storing a resin configured to be applied to the base object and to adhere to the base object, the resin container comprising a miniature replica of a container associated with the food or beverage item, and ingredient objects configured to be at least partially embedded in the resin, the ingredient objects comprising miniature replicas of ingredients associated with the food or beverage item, the resin being configured to solidify when exposed to ultraviolet light to thereby affix the resin to the base object and to affix the ingredient objects at least partially within the resin.
