Fidget-Spinner Toy And Methods Of Using A Fidget-Spinner Toy
A fidget-spinner toy capable of being held in one hand between the thumb and another finger comprised of a gyroscopic rotor, means for rotating the gyroscopic rotor which is further comprised of a reciprocating actuator rod, and a tip that rotates independently of the gyroscopic rotor, such that the gyroscopic rotor is rotated about its spin axis as the tip rests on the thumb by moving the thumb and the tip end of the other finger closer together and then farther apart again repeatedly in order to convert bidirectional reciprocating movement of the reciprocating actuator rod into unidirectional rotary motion of the gyroscopic rotor even if the gyroscopic rotor is already rotating rapidly. Methods are also provided that are comprised of first providing the fidget-spinner toy and then using it for fun and to reduce mental stress either while the fidget-spinner toy is being held in the hand or operating independently as a spinning top on any smooth surface.
Hand Operated Gyroscope Device
A hand-held gyroscope toy or gyroscopic muscle conditioning device with an outer shell containing a drive assembly with a spring-loaded drive button at one end that charges and discharges the gearing inside to provide an accelerated rate of rotation to a flywheel inside the outer shell. The resulting high-speed rotation causes a gyro effect that can be employed as either a fidget-type toy or a resistance device for fine motor or muscle development.
TOY ASSEMBLY AND EXTENSIBLE OBJECT THEREFOR
In an aspect, a toy assembly is provided, and includes a toy assembly housing, an extensible object inside the toy assembly housing, an extension mechanism, and an extension member power source. The extensible object includes a base, and first and second extension members. The extension mechanism is operable to drive the first and second extension members towards extended positions, and is operatively connected to the second extension member via a lost motion connection. Driving of the extension mechanism by the extension mechanism power source drives the first extension member towards the extended position for the first extension member to break or open the toy assembly housing to expose the extensible object while consuming at least a portion of the lost motion in the lost motion connection. Upon consuming the lost motion, further driving the extension mechanism drives the first and second extension members towards the extended positions.
Fidget Lighter Device
A device including a device body for storing fuel; a spark wheel that may be used as a first fidget device is configured to rotate against a flint to produce igniting sparks; a flame setting indicator for indicating low flame (LO), high flame (HI), and flame off (OFF); a tab portion for pointing to at least one of the flame setting settings; a flame-height adjuster for decreasing or increasing a flame ignited by said sparks, or turning off a supply of fuel; a rotating disc implement that may be used as a second fidget device, wherein the rotating disc implement is configured to significantly flush-mount against the device body and to customarily rotate freely against the device body; a circular indentation implement disposed on a proximate center portion of said lighter body section is configured to generally secure said rotating disc implement.
SEMI-AUTOMATED FIDGET SPINNER
A semi-automated fidget spinner, comprising: an outer multi-wing spinning section with a central opening and a plurality of spinnable wings; a core in the opening with bearing separating the core from the spinning section; a woundable spring coupled to the core and to the spinning section; and a winding mechanism coupled to the spring to store energy in the spring and to thereafter release the energy to spin the spinning section.
Finger mounted spinning toy
A finger mounted spinning device having an elongated housing body, preferably having a plurality of LED lights mounted into the housing body. The housing body is provided with a circular opening adjacent one end, sized such that a finger may be inserted through the opening. An annular gripping member extends inwardly within the opening, mounted to the housing body in rotational manner such that such that the elongated housing body is rotatable about the user's finger while the finger gripping member remains stationary on the user's finger. When spinning about the user's finger, the lights present a visible two-dimensional pattern.
THERAPEUTIC DEVICE WITH BREATHING TOOL AND FIDGET SPINNER
A therapeutic device with a breathing tool and a fidget spinner that can rotate, where the fidget spinner is attached to the breathing tool. The breathing tool has a proximal end with an opening that allows air to pass through an air passage and the proximal end can be enclosed in the lips of a person and allows the person to pass breathing air through the opening. The fidget spinner may encircle the air passage. The breathing tool may include: a top portion having a receiving passage; and a bottom portion with an end section adjacent to a narrow section. The fidget spinner may be adapted to rotate about the narrow section, and the end section can be received within the receiving passage of the top portion. The breathing tool, narrow section, end section, top portion, and the receiving passage of the top portion may have a cylindrical shape.
