MULTI-FUNCTION MODULAR ROBOT APPARATUS WITH STACKABLE, INTERCHANGEABLE AND INTERLOCKING MODULES
A multi-function modular robot apparatus provides a wide range of entertainment and functional use options that may be tailored by a user to the specific entertainment and functional purposes so desired. The specific entertainment and functional purposes of the multi-function modular robot apparatus are obtained through inclusion of multiple stackable modules. The interlocking mechanical and electric communications connections for each stackable module act as a power and electronic communication pass through to allow for each module to be arranged in any order and in any combination while still maintaining power and function.
ROTATIONAL FORCE CAPTURING APPARATUS
The invention is a novelty device that appears to be in perpetual motion when in an active position. It is emphasized that this abstract is provided to comply with the rules requiring an abstract that will allow a searcher or other reader to quickly ascertain the subject matter of the technical disclosure. It is submitted with the understanding that it will not be used to interpret or limit the scope or meaning of the claims. 37 CFR 1.72(b).
Apparatus, System, Method for Achieving Magnetically Harnessed Locomotion of Wheeled Machines
An apparatus for achieving magnetically harnessed locomotion may include (1) a housing that at least partially houses a wheeled machine, (2) a plurality of wheels attached to a plurality of independently rotatable axles that are oriented substantially opposite one another along a plane of the wheeled machine, (3) a plurality of motors having shafts oriented substantially perpendicular to the independently rotatable axles, (4) at least one magnet positioned between the independently rotatable axles within the housing such that a magnetic force of the magnet (A) pulls the independently rotatable axles toward an inward point of the wheeled machine and (B) causes the wheels attached to the independently rotatable axles to press against the shafts of the motors. Various other apparatuses, systems, and methods are also disclosed.
STADIUM FOR ROBOTIC GAMES
A user configurable playing surface and stadium venue includes interlocking floor parts that form a playing surface. Each of the interlocking floor parts has a series of openings. A set of wall elements are provided that each have insertion tabs configured to mate with the interlocking floor parts using the series of openings to form said stadium venue with a perimeter boundary.
SELF-PROPELLED DEVICE WITH ACTIVELY ENGAGED DRIVE SYSTEM
A self-propelled device is provided including a drive system, a spherical housing, and a biasing mechanism. The drive system includes one or more motors that are contained within the spherical housing. The biasing mechanism actively forces the drive system to continuously engage an interior of the spherical housing in order to cause the spherical housing to move.
TOY INTERACTIVE ENTERTAINMENT DEVICES
Interactive entertainment devices including a toy magic wand with integrated electronics for, among other things, detecting wand motion and responding accordingly, such as illuminating one or more LEDs, displaying images on one or more LCD displays, playing sound effects or character speech, emitting infrared (IR) signals via one or more IR emitters, or some combination thereof. An exemplary device may include a fairy house or wizard tower playset with integrated electronics for receiving one or more received IR signals and responding or reacting accordingly. For example, depending on the nature of the received IR signals, the electronics may illuminate one or more LEDs, display images on one or more LCD displays, play sound effects or character speech, emit IR signals via one or more IR emitters, or some combination thereof.

CONTROLLABLE SPINNING DEVICE
A system and method for controlling an action toy without electronics or motors. A spinning sphere includes a set of magnets supported by a cross beam. A magnet assembly, such as a ring or wand, may be held by an operator and used to control the spinning embodiments. Special play surfaces may be provided to enhance an experience and challenges of steering a spinning sphere.
Magnetically coupled accessory for a self-propelled device
A system comprising a self-propelled device and an accessory device. The self-propelled device includes a spherical housing, and a drive system provided within the spherical housing to cause the self-propelled device to roll. When the self-propelled device rolls, the self-propelled device and the accessory device magnetically interact to maintain the accessory device in contact with a top position of the spherical housing relative to an underlying surface on which the spherical housing is rolling on.
