The base includes a slot to attach a string to which the toy can be attached. The structure further comprises a bottom portion, which is detachable from the top portion. The bottom portion includes at least two legs that are consequently detachable from the top portion and can be interchanged with another set of legs in order to adjust the height of the structure.
Accessory attachment device
An attachment device is provided which allows a range of accessories to be mounted above a bassinet. The attachment device includes two clamps which are biased by a spring to be pulled toward one another, a vertical pole, and an arm which may be curved such that it attaches to the vertical pole at one end and may be substantially horizontal at the other end. The end of the arm furthest from the pole includes an attachment point for attaching accessories. An adapter may be used to connect the accessories to the attachment point. Specific safety measures may also be provided to prevent the attachment device from falling forward into the bassinet and to allow the attachment device to be removed quickly if necessary.
PLACEMAT ANCHOR AND TETHER SYSTEM
In some embodiments, a system comprises a mat body characterized by a front side, a back side and a thickness; a plurality of anchors, each anchor comprising an anchor block having an aperture characterized by an aperture diameter, a suction cup having a sealing surface and an outer surface, and a stem that is coaxial with the suction cup and connects the suction cup to the anchor block. Each anchor may be disposed through the thickness, such that its anchor block is on the front side and its suction cup extends from the back side. The system may further comprise an elongated tether that is removably coupleable to one of the plurality of anchors, and the elongated tether may comprise an anchor end having a generally spherical anchor terminus characterized by an anchor diameter that is greater than the aperture diameter.
Entertainment and gating assembly
An entertainment and gating assembly for sequestering and entertaining a child includes a gate that is configured to selectively couple to opposing elements of a structure that define an opening, such as jambs of a door, to selectively retain a child within a portion of the structure. At least one entertainment module is coupled to the gate. The at least one entertainment module is configured to entertain the child who is retained in the portion of the structure.
