Mobile Configurable Animal Trap System
20200260683 · 2020-08-20 ·

A portable, trapping system for capturing and non-lethally retaining a large number of large animals, such as wild horses or feral hogs. A specialized trailer aligns and secures deployable corral components for transportation. The corral comprises a modular fence erected on-site from multiple fence panels that are hinged together by pinning. The fence panels are configured with voids to prevent animal climbing. A gate with a remotely actuated trap door is similarly pinned between adjacent fence panels. The gate threshold is concealable. Stakes secure panels to the ground, forming a stable enclosure. The trailer comprises a rigid, confining frame structure adapted to constrain and transport corral components. When the corral is disassembled, multiple individual fence panels to be moved are slidably captivated between channels on first and second confining surfaces, being maintained in a parallel and stable configuration during transportation.

Animal pen with removable dividers

A modular animal pen system comprises front and rear panels and opposed side panels extending between the front and rear panels to form a primary enclosure. The front panel has adjacent doorway apertures formed therein to receive respective selectively closable gates, and a mullion is disposed between the doorway apertures. The mullion has a first slot, and a second slot in the rear panel is in registration with the first slot. The animal pen system further comprises a removable divider panel whose longitudinal ends are sized to fit removably within the respective slots so that the divider panel can divide the primary enclosure into two secondary enclosures. The side and divider panels may be formed by interchangeable profile panels, and the front and rear panels may be formed by interchangeable face panels connectable end-to-end to form a junction slot therebetween sized to receive the longitudinal ends of the profile panels.

Integrally manufactured stall dividers for barns

A hollow polymer stall divider for use in a barn permits lateral flexing when a cow presses against the stall divider while the stall divider asserts a lateral force against the cow to urge the cow to move into a proper position between adjacent stall dividers without causing injury to the cow. The polymer stall divider can be formed of a single polymer material having a unitary density throughout. Alternatively, the polymer stall divider can be formed of multiple sections of different densities of polymer material, and different types of polymer material. The different sections of polymer material can be plastic welded together or connected by plug members inserted into the adjoining ends of the sections and secured with adhesives or other bonding material to form line blanks that can be heated until softened sufficiently to be bent into a proper shape within a pre-formed mold.

An implement for keeping dairy animals, provided with a first and a second production unit and with a care unit having a plurality of subunits, wherein each production unit is provided with at least one accommodation area for a production group, which comprises a group of lactating dairy animals, and with a milking implement for milking the production group, wherein the subunits of the care unit at least include a calving unit for separately accommodating dairy animals in a calving period, and a milking implement for milking newly calved dairy animals, and an infirmary unit for separately accommodating sick animals, and wherein the care unit forms a connection between the production units. There is thus provided a compact disposition, comprising efficient and short distances, for dairy animals requiring care.

Cattle floor

Floor for animals such as cattle, comprising a base structure and a top layer, wherein the top layer is permeable to fluid portions of animal faeces and/or animal urine, but impermeable to solid parts of the animal faeces, wherein the base structure comprises voids for receiving said fluid portions and/or urine passing through the top layer, wherein the base structure comprises an array base elements forming a substantially continuous deck supporting the top layer, wherein the deck is arranged for passing said fluids into internal volumes of the base elements forming said voids, the internal volumes of at least a number of said base elements being in fluid communication with each other, preferably such that fluids received in said internal volumes can be removed from the base elements by flow through said internal volumes.

Livestock Housing System

An animal housing unit has an enclosed monolithic hutch with an open front and a separate open top pen attached to the front of the hutch whereby an animal will be contained in the unit by the combination of the hutch and pen. The pen has a sliding roof that can be extended over the pen, with an extension that shields a feed bucket location from rain. The units can be supported on a composite steel and plastic base and drain through floor tiles can be used on the base, which can be supported on adjustable supports to support the base above or close to the ground. The roof is bi-laterally curved or partially spherical to promote shedding of rainwater, and gutters are molded into the hutch to channel rain away from the interior living space. Roof guiding and securement mechanisms are molded into the hutch and sliding roof. The sliding roof is double walled for insulation and strength and extruded members sandwich the lower edges of the hutch. The front of the pen bulges forwardly beyond the front bottom edge of the pen, the front has a door, a bottle holder in the front of the pen is wider at the distal end, and the front of the pen tapers in width forwardly and upwardly. The units can be provided with an elevated base, base skirts, a non-slip soft grate floor, a bucket and clip, a rain visor on the pen, back wall and rear corner ventilation, a manure catch pan, treatment flags, tie down hinges, a multiple roof movement system and a bedding tray.
