A servo motor 24 that moves the second tool rest 20 when supporting the workpiece W is supplied with a current within a preset limiting range. The limiting range is previously set based on a current value detected by driving the servo motor 24 to move the second tool rest 20 and detecting a value of a current supplied to the servo motor 24 during the movement.

A machine tool system includes a machine tool including a processor to process a workpiece with a tool, and a bed on which the processor is mounted, a transport apparatus including two, left and right, legs spaced apart from the bed to transport the workpiece and feed the workpiece to the processor or discharge the workpiece from the processor, and a plate that connects the bed to the legs and is elastically deformable. In order to be suitable for space-saving of a multi-functional processing machine in which a tool main spindle device is disposed at a center of an opposed biaxial lathe, there is provided an automatic tool exchanger provided in the multi-functional processing machine, the automatic tool exchanger including: a tool magazine that is disposed in a machine body front surface upper portion of the multi-functional processing machine and is configured to house multiple tools for exchange with respect to the tool main spindle device; a shift device configured to move the tool between the tool magazine and a tool exchanging position with respect to the tool main spindle device; and a tool changer configured to exchange the tool between the shift device and the tool main spindle device.
