TOOL HOLDER INTERFACE OF A MACHINE TOOL, TOOL TURRET AND TOOL HOLDER FOR LIVE TOOLS
A tool turret includes a turret body having at least one connecting slot for replaceably mounting a tool holder to the turret and a transmission shaft arranged at the connecting slot. The transmission shaft is configured to transmit a drive torque to the mounted tool holder, and includes a torque receiving-side section for receiving driving torque and a connecting-side section for connecting to the mounted tool holder. The connecting-side section has a first gearing for transmitting the drive torque to a corresponding tool holder gearing, wherein at the torque receiving-side section a contacting part is provided for receiving the torque of the drive unit. A mating surface is provided at the connecting-side section of the transmission shaft and is arranged to contact a surface of the mounted tool holder for interacting with the tool holder to remove a gap between the first gearing and the corresponding mounted tool holder gearing.
TOOL HOLDER AND TURRET
A tool holder (100) holds a tool (170) in a non-rotatable manner. When an attaching surface (112a) of a body part (110, 120, 150) of the tool holder is attached to a tool holder attachment surface of a machine tool, cooling medium supplied from the machine tool flows through a first body part passage (114, 124). Then, a rotary member (130) is rotationally driven by a drive mechanism provided in the machine tool. When a rotary part of a pump (200) rotates with the rotary member, the pressure of the cooling medium suctioned into the pump is proportionally increased in accordance with the rotational speed of the rotary part, and pressurized cooling medium is discharged from an outlet part (202) of the pump. The pressurized cooling medium then flows through a second body part passage (115, 125) and is thereafter sprayed from a spray hole (161) of a nozzle (160).
Parting blade and tool holder therefor
A tool holder includes a tool shank and a tool head connected to the tool shank. The tool head has a rear surface. An insert seat or a blade pocket is partially formed on both the tool head and the tool shank, and extends rearwardly of the tool head's rear surface. Adjacent to at least a portion of a shank side surface there is a reinforcement portion connecting the shank side surface and the tool head.

Mechanism for attaching tool holder to turret
An angle adjustment mechanism includes an angle adjustment block including first opposing side faces inclined relative to the direction along the rotation axis of the turret; first and second adjustment blocks having inclined faces that are brought into surface contact with respective first opposing side faces, and movable in a direction along the rotation axis; a depression formed in a tool holder, and accommodates the angle adjustment block with the first and second adjustment blocks; first and second adjusters that move the first and second adjustment blocks in a direction along the rotation axis of the turret; and a first positioning member conducting positioning between the turret and the tool holder, and a second positioning member conducting positioning between the turret and the angle adjustment block. This configuration provides a mechanism for attaching a tool holder to a turret which can easily conduct highly precise angle adjustment.

Alignment device, alignment element for such an alignment device, and an alignment method
The invention relates to an alignment device for precisely positioning a first functional element (103), particularly a retainer, on a second functional element (105), particularly a disc, these being detachably secured to each other. In the secured state (FZ), (a) at least one alignment element (115) is secured in a housing depression (117) of the first functional element (103) or the second functional element (105) by means of at least one securing element (131); (b) the alignment element (115) is connected to the first functional element (103) by means of at least one securing surface (119) and is in contact with a support surface (123) of said second functional element (105) by means of at least one contact surface (121); (c) a pre-tensioning device (125) acts between said contact surface (121) and support surface (123) and exerts a returning force, for returning to a starting position, onto the contact surface (121) and support surface (123) which are set one towards the other; and (d) the alignment element (115) is arranged laterally sunk into the housing depression (117), said contact surfaces (121) protruding above the lower side (133) of the first functional element (103). The invention is characterized in that in said secured state (FZ), the securing element (131) in question is arranged so as to be accessible from outside for the purpose of carrying out securing and/or justification processes, and in that the contact surface (121) is provided on a protruding body section (169) in the form of a block-shaped alignment element (115) engagement section. The invention also relates to an alignment element for such an alignment device, and to an alignment method.
