METHOD FOR CONVEYING BULK MATERIALS, AND DEVICE FOR CARRYING OUT THE METHOD
According to one method, bulk materials are conveyed in a metered quantity on at least one plate element and are lifted up from the plate element in order to organize the bulk materials by a movement oriented approximately perpendicularly to the plate element. The plate element is moved up and down at least transversely to the plate element support surface by at least one pulse, preferably two successive pulses, such that the bulk materials located on the plate element are lifted up from the plate element for a short time during each pulse, thus allowing an efficient and highly productive conveyance of the bulk materials.

Side-lock modular drill with spring-assisted bump-off
A rotary cutting tool with a shank and an interchangeable cutting tip, wherein the shank includes a pocket which receives the interchangeable cutting tip via an interference fit. The pocket includes two centering wall portions which, when viewed along a central longitudinal axis, are oriented at a first angle with respect to one another, the first angle being greater than zero. The interchangeable cutting tip is axially displaceable between: an initial position, assumed upon being received in the pocket of the shank; a clamped position, wherein the interchangeable cutting tip is fixedly held with respect to the shank; and a bump-off position, wherein the interchangeable cutting tip is not fixedly held. A holding element holds the interchangeable cutting tip in the clamped position, and a spring assembly which displaces the interchangeable cutting tip between the clamped position and the bump-off position. Other variants and embodiments are broadly contemplated herein.
Flexible finger connection
A latch and catch arrangement is disclosed, whereby a sleeve supporting a flexible hinge with an extended finger is oriented over a fluid connection to a socket guide. The sleeve is oriented to the tool collar to place a flexible hinge and finger over the bearing guide. The finger moves upward when a tool is inserted into a tool socket, and the flexible hinge, properly oriented by the alignment catch/latch, keeps the finger in the tool socket while allowing necessary movement to insert and remove a tool.
CLAMPING DEVICE AND WORKPIECE HOLDING DEVICE WITH A CLAMPING DEVICE
The invention relates to a clamping device and is designed for releasably clamping a supporting body on which a workpiece can be arranged. The clamping device has a main body with receiving bores each for receiving a clamping bolt of the supporting body. Each clamping body can be moved linearly along the longitudinal axis thereof between a clamping position and a release position. The movement from the release position into the clamping position and/or conversely from the clamping position into the release position can be effected by means of an actuation device. Each clamping body has a clamping end which protrudes into an associated receiving bore in the clamping position. The longitudinal axes of the clamping bodies form a plurality of intersection points in a common projection plane parallel to which the longitudinal axes extend. In a preferred embodiment, at least three or four intersection points are formed. More particularly, four clamping bodies can be present, each with a longitudinal axis, wherein four intersection points are formed, in each of which two of the available longitudinal axes intersect.
Tool adapter
Tool adapter assemblies are presented including: a quick release coupler including: a spindle defining a partial cylindrical cavity, the spindle including a base portion, a body portion, and an end portion where the body portion includes a number of ball stop recesses; a number of ball stops slidingly engaged with the number of ball stop recesses; and a sleeve slidingly coupled with the spindle, where the sleeve is configured to lock and release the ball stops; and an accessory connector including at least one of: one or more annular grooves configured to engage with number of ball stops, a number of detents configured to engage with number of ball stops, or both the annular groove and the number of detents; and an accessory engagement portion positioned along a proximal end of the accessory connector.
Retention system for motor grader bits
A work tool or a wear member includes a working portion or a wear portion, and a shank extending from the working portion or the wear portion, defining a longitudinal axis, and a first lock receiving groove that defines an axis of rotation that is perpendicular to the longitudinal axis of the shank.

Clamping assembly, a toolholder assembly comprising a clamping assembly and a toolholder, and a method of changing a toolholder in a toolholder assembly
A clamping assembly includes a base member having an internal bore, a lock rod within the internal bore of the base member and moveable in a forward direction and rearward direction between an unlocked position and a locked position, a crank wheel having an axis of rotation, and a linkage coupled to the lock rod and coupled to the crank wheel at a position radially offset from the axis of rotation of the crank wheel.
TOOL DRIVING DEVICE AND METHOD OF PRODUCING DRILLED PRODUCT
According to one implementation, a tool driving device includes a drill chuck, a motor, a casing and a vibrating mechanism. The drill chuck holds a drill. The motor is configured to rotate the drill chuck. The casing houses the motor. The vibrating mechanism is configured to periodically reciprocate the drill chuck relatively to the casing in a tool axis direction during rotation of the drill chuck. The vibrating mechanism is configured to distance the drill chuck from the casing at a first speed smaller than a second speed for bringing the drill chuck close to the casing.
