FIXTURE FOR MACHING WHEEL OUTER RIM WITHOUT TRACE
A fixture for machining wheel outer rim without trace includes a positioning and clamping portion and a flexible support portion. A base is fixed on a bottom plate, and a screw is configured to compress an expanding pressure plate during being tightened so that the outer circumference of an expanding sleeve expands a center hole of a wheel; and the positioning columns are inserted into bolt holes of the wheel. A lower pressure plate is fixed on the base, and limiting columns and an upper pressure plate are installed on the lower pressure plate, with steel balls and rubber strip being enclosed in a space formed by the lower pressure plate and the upper pressure plate. The fixture meets the requirement for machining the wheel outer rim without trace, has the characteristics of simple structure, convenient manufacture, stable performance and precision, and meets the requirements of automatic production.
Defense Related Robotic Systems
A robot quick-release assembly has a first joint member and a robot component mounted thereon, the first joint member has a first coupler and a second joint member, a robot arm mounted thereon has a second coupler, a clamp, and a locking collar. The first coupler can be coaxially aligned with the second coupler and pressed into the second joint member, and detachably connected to the second joint member. The first mechanical coupler is detachably connected to the second mechanical coupler for transferring power across the quick-release assembly. The robot component can receive an additional electrical connector, the additional electrical connector supplying power to the robot component. The quick-release assembly coupling assembly further exerts large forces with the application of a relatively small torque to the locking collar by applying a two stage wedge engagement and can further include a sequencing system.

Replaceable face-milling head with integrally formed threaded shank-connector
A replaceable face-milling head configured for rotating about a central rotation axis A.sub.R. The head includes a cutting portion and an integrally formed threaded shank-connector portion, the latter of which being configured for connecting to a shank. A length-diameter ratio LDR, defined as a cutting portion length L.sub.C divided by a cutting portion diameter D.sub.E, fulfills the condition: LDR1.00.

CHUCK, CUTTING TOOL, AND ASSEMBLY
An assembly comprises: a chuck, which has a tool-receiving socket, a contact surface, and a screw thread; and a cutting tool, which has a tool shaft, a mating contact surface, and a mating screw thread. In a clamped state, the mating screw thread of the cutting tool is screwed into the screw thread of the chuck, the mating contact surface of the cutting tool is seated against the contact surface of the chuck, and the tool shaft is frictionally torque-transmittingly clamped in the tool-receiving socket. The invention also relates to a chuck of this type and to a cutting tool of this type.

TREATMENT ELEMENT ATTACHMENT SYSTEM
A treatment assembly for securing a treatment member to a shaft that includes the treatment member and a female attachment member. The treatment member defines a longitudinal axis, and has a distal end and a proximal end. The proximal end includes an attachment recess defined therein. The female attachment member has a distal end, a proximal end, and a shaft recess defined in the proximal end. The female attachment member is secured in the attachment recess of the treatment member. The shaft recess is defined by an interior surface that includes a first flat surface. The interior surface includes a first detent defined therein. When the shaft is received in the shaft recess, the first flat surface is operatively engaged with a first opposing flat surface on a male attachment member and a first ball is biased into the first detent.
