Quick-release coupling for drilling and related methods
An apparatus in the form of an adapter for forming a connection comprising a first part adapted for coupling with a second part by a quick-release coupling formed by a first projection of the first part having an at least partial dovetail shape and a recess of the second part having an at least partial dovetail shape. An opening in the recess is adapted for receiving the projection in an axial direction. In other embodiments, the adapter is: (1) frictionally enhanced for engaging an internal portion of the drilling element; (2) includes a radial projection elongated in an axial direction for engaging the internal portion of the one drilling element; and/or (3) has a cutter for scoring an internal portion of the one drilling element upon being inserted therein and rotated. An adapter is also disclosed for use with a drill chuck, including for creating a “twist lock” connection.

Quick-changing brazed drill
A quick-changing brazed drill includes a drill body and a quick-changing joint. The drill body is connected to the quick-changing joint detachably, and a vent hole is provided at a connection point between the drill body and the quick-changing joint. The drill body has a cylindrical structure, an interior of a front end of the drill body is hollow, and an outer side of the front end of the drill body is provided with 2-6 grooves. The quick-changing joint includes a transition block and a rear cover; a rear end of the transition block is connected to the rear cover by an external thread; a snap-fit area is provided between the transition block and the rear cover; a middle portion of the transition block is provided with a first threaded hole and is connected to a rear end of the drill body.
CUTTER HOLDER ASSEMBLY CAPABLE OF PREVENTING A CUTTER THEREOF FROM FALLING
A cutter holder assembly capable of preventing a cutter thereof from falling includes a cutter holder, a cutter, a positioning key, a compressing element, and a nut. The cutter holder has a chamber and a mounting hole both formed in the cutter holder. The chamber has at least one engaging groove formed therein and having a guiding channel and a limiting groove communicating with each other. The cutter has a keyway formed thereon. The positioning key is mounted in the keyway and can extend into the guiding channel and the limiting groove, such that the positioning key can be limited in the cutter holder along with the cutter. The compressing element is mounted to the mounting hole and can move relative to the mounting hole to compress the positioning key in the limiting groove of the at least one engaging groove. The nut is sleeved on the cutter holder.
MANDREL AND ACCESSORY FOR ROTARY TOOL
A rotary tool mandrel includes a shaft, locking projections, a collar, and a fastener. The shaft extends along a longitudinal axis and includes a distal end. The locking projections protrude radially relative to the longitudinal axis and positioned on opposite sides of the longitudinal axis from one another. Each of the locking projections define a locking projection outer profile that is rectilinear. The collar is coupled to the shaft and includes a pair of coupling projections protruding from a surface of the collar adjacent the distal end of the shaft. The coupling projections are angularly offset from the locking projections with respect to the longitudinal axis. Each of the coupling projections define a coupling projection that is rectilinear. The fastener is coupled to the shaft and movable relative to the shaft along the longitudinal axis, and movement of the fastener causes the locking projections to move toward the coupling projections.
Interchangeable die, joining tool and joining method
An interchangeable die comprises a die head, on which a die feature is formed, and a die shank extending in an axial direction from the die head. The die shank includes a first axial shank section, which is adjacent to the die head, and a second axial shank section, which is arranged on the opposite axial side of the first axial shank section from the die head. The first axial shank section has a first diameter and the second axial shank section has a second diameter smaller than the first diameter. The die shank is introducible into a shank receptacle of a die receiving section of a joining tool. A fastening contour for fastening the interchangeable die to the joining tool is formed on the interchangeable die. The fastening contour is configured such that a plug-and-turn connection is establishable between the interchangeable die and the joining tool.

INTRAOSSEOUS DEVICE COUPLERS, DRIVERS, KITS, AND METHODS
This disclosure includes various embodiments of couplers for coupling intraosseous (IO) devices and drivers, and various embodiments of drivers and kits.
Rotary cutting tool and tool assembly
A rotary cutting tool comprises a tool body having an axis of rotation (L) and a cylindrical shank, which comprises at least one locking groove via which the cutting tool can be axially locked in a tool holder. The locking groove has an axial groove, which extends from an axial end on the receiving side in axial direction (A) to an axial stop, and a circumferential groove, which is laterally adjacent to the axial groove and extends away from the axial stop and the axial groove in circumferential direction (U) toward a rotation stop. The circumferential groove comprises a first end face and a second end face opposite to said first end face, both of which extend in a plane that is perpendicular to the axis of rotation (L). A tool assembly having such a rotary cutting tool and a tool holder having a cylindrical tool receptacle for the cutting tool is provided as well.
