Artificial eye with an internal electromagnetic drive
An artificial eye for use with an animatronic figure or a robot. The artificial eye includes an outer shell formed with a wall defining a spherical inner void space. The outer shell includes a transparent outer or forward portion or half joined with a rear portion or half. The artificial eye includes an inner eye or sphere including a hollow, semi-spherical shell, and the inner eye is positioned in the inner void space of the outer shell. The artificial eye includes an electromagnetic drive positioned within the hollow, semi-spherical shell of the inner eye. The electromagnetic drive supports the inner eye a distance from inner surfaces of the outer shell wall, and the drive includes a pivot joint such as a gimbal operable to pivot the inner eye. The inner eye is supported by a central pivot joint and driven by components centrally located and hidden within the inner eye.
Figurine with magnetic assembly components
The disclosure relates to a figurine having magnetically attachable components and accessories that can be assembled and manipulated in various configurations to alter the appearance of the figurine as desired. The figurine includes a core having a plurality of magnetic joints coupled along various surfaces of the core. Each of the components of the figurine (such as the head, hands, and feet) includes a complementary magnetic joint designed to magnetically interact with the magnetic joints on the core to couple the components to the core, and to accommodate movement of the components relative to the core.

TOYS WITH CAPACITIVE TOUCH FEATURES
A children's toy with capacitive touch interactivity. The children's toy generally includes a user input overlay panel and one or more capacitive touch sensors. The overlay panel may be formed from a capacitive touch conductive natural organic material such as wood. The toy can be shaped and ornamented to resemble a musical instrument and configured to play music in response to user input applied to the user input overlay panel and sensed by the capacitive touch sensors.

INFANT ACTIVITY CENTER
A child activity center includes a tabletop having a top play surface and a bottom surface opposite the top play surface, and a central opening. A plurality of legs, are attached to tabletop and a lower platform is attached to the legs by a plurality of straps that are connected to the platform. A child seat is advantageously removably attached to the tabletop via over the central opening, in one form. Optional unique clips attach toys to the tabletop and one or more optional openings or windows in the tabletop allow an infant to see through the tabletop to the observe objects therebelow.
STORYTELLING ENVIRONMENT: MAPPING VIRTUAL SETTINGS TO PHYSICAL LOCATIONS
A method, computer-readable medium, and system are disclosed for an interactive storytelling environment. The method comprises identifying a plurality of storytelling devices available to participate in a storytelling experience, at least one of the plurality of the storytelling devices comprising a first beacon device. The method further comprises beginning playback of a first story of the storytelling experience, the first story comprising a first plurality of predetermined actions associated with a predetermined first virtual setting, the first virtual setting mapped to the first beacon device. The method further comprises determining a location of a user using the first beacon device, and during playback of the first story and using at least one of the plurality of storytelling devices, producing one or more of the at least one audiovisual effect corresponding to the first virtual setting based on the determined location of the user.
