A bubble generating apparatus includes an air flow generator, a liquid tray defined by a floor and sidewalls and having one or more bubble forming ports therein, and a pivot arm coupled to a motor for pivoting the pivot arm about an axis so that during pivoting a bubble generating member of the pivot arm passes over one of the bubble forming ports, the air flow generator positioned to direct an air stream through the one or more bubble forming ports, and a gravity feed liquid reservoir, wherein the liquid tray is configured to generate bubbles from the liquid when the air flow generator directs the air stream through the one or more bubble forming ports while the pivot arm pivots about the axis.

In one aspect, the invention can be an apparatus for generating bubbles including an housing assembly, a motor, and a fan device operably coupled to the motor to generate an air stream. There may also be a bubble generating assembly having a plurality of bubble generating devices that are aligned with the air stream generated by the fan device. The bubble solution dispenser may include a storage reservoir containing a supply of a bubble solution and a delivery reservoir that is fluidly coupled to the storage reservoir. The motor may be operably coupled to the bubble solution dispenser to rotate the bubble solution dispenser about a rotational axis to deliver the bubble solution to each of the bubble generating devices.

The follower member may be altered between a lowered position whereby the bubble generating device becomes loaded with bubble solution and a raised position wherein the bubble generating devices becomes aligned with an air stream generated by the air flow generator. The follower member may be altered from the raised position to the lowered position solely by gravity.

A bubble generating device and a method for producing bubbles. The bubble generating apparatus may include a housing, a motor, an air flow generator operably coupled to the motor, a trough containing a bubble solution, a cam, and a follower member having a bubble generating device. The follower member may be in operable cooperation with the cam, and the motor may be operably coupled to the follower member to drive the follower member along the cam. An article for soap bubble generation is provided as a liquid-resistant wearable article. A web is provided integrally with the article having at least one hole adapted to form soap bubbles when the web is dipped in bubble solution and air is moved through the at least one hole. Preferably, the article has films of liquid-resistant material sealed at a common edge and a pocket therebetween. The pocket may be shaped to receive a body part such as a hand (e.g., the article is glove/mitten-shaped). The article substantially prevents a body part inside the pocket from touching the bubble solution when the web is dipped in the bubble solution while the article is being worn. Different sizes of holes may be provided in the web to generate different sizes of bubbles.

An article for soap bubble generation is provided as a liquid-resistant wearable article. A web is provided integrally with the article having at least one hole adapted to form soap bubbles when the web is dipped in bubble solution and air is moved through the at least one hole. Preferably, the article has films of liquid-resistant material sealed at a common edge and a pocket therebetween. The pocket may be shaped to receive a body part such as a hand (e.g., the article is glove/mitten-shaped).
