An interactive loom, which includes a loom-mechanism, a user interface, a loom interface, and a controller. Each cam is in the form of a cylinder rotating about the axis thereof. The circumferential surface of the cam exhibits a determined surface geometry, such that each of a plurality of sections of said circumferential surface corresponds to a respective one of the arms. The circumferential surface further exhibits a respective cross sectional profile and such that each rotational position of said cam is associated with a respective state of lowered and raised arms. The loom-interface includes a motor coupled with the cam, and operates loom-mechanics according to instructions. The controller receives a design from the user-interface and transforms the design into a sequence of states of the arms required for achieving the design. The controller further provides the instructions to the loom-interface. The instructions are associated with state changes of the arms.

TOY SYSTEM
20240189731 · 2024-06-13 ·

An interactive toy system includes a miniature oven having an oven door, a dial knob, and an internal space. An upper shelf is disposed at an upper position inside the internal space, and a lower shelf is disposed at a lower position that is below the upper position inside the internal space. The upper shelf is capable of moving down to the lower position, which causes the lower shelf to move down to a bottom position. A plush doll is placed on the upper shelf when it is at the upper position. During a play, a dough is placed inside the oven on the lower shelf, and the dial knob is turned to start a baking process. The knob turning causes the upper shelf carrying the plush doll to drop down to the lower position and the lower shelf carrying the dough to drop down to the bottom position. When the baking process is completed and the oven door is open, the plush doll is revealed in the internal space of the oven.

Pulsating imitation speaker

A pulsating imitation speaker includes a fixed cover, a flexible cover, and a motor and gear assembly having a motor with a motor shah, a first gear on a first axle, and a second gear on a second axle. The motor is drivingly engaged with the first gear via a pinion on the motor shaft and the first gear is drivingly engaged with the second gear such that when the pinion is rotated by the motor, the first and second gear also rotate. The pulsating imitation speaker further includes an actuator fixedly engaged with the flexible cover and a first and second circular member each engaged with the actuator and respectively positioned on opposite ends of the second axle such that the circular members rotate with the second gear. The actuator is reciprocated by rotation of the circular members such that the flexible cover moves relative to the fixed cover, when the motor is activated.

Toy apparatus

A toy apparatus includes a base piece having a distal end, a movable elongated member having a first end and a second end, and a tether coupled to the first end of the movable elongated member. Tension applied to the tether moves the movable elongated member from an open first position to a closed second position. The toy apparatus is configured to freely slide on a surface due to momentum generated when an initial pushing force is applied to the toy apparatus. The tension applied to the tether causes the tether to become taut, without other human contact to the toy apparatus. In the closed second position, the second end of the movable elongated member is closer to the distal end of the base elongated member, and the base elongated member and the movable elongated member are capable of retaining a target piece.
