A modular kit is disclosed herein. The modular kit includes an enclosure, at least one decal and at least one salon accessory. The at least one decal represents items usually found in a real-salon such as mirrors, cash-registers, etc. The at least one salon accessory includes accessories found in real-salons such as chairs, and hair products. In one embodiment the modular kit is modular and includes a plurality of configurations based on a users' individual need. The modular kit is useful for simulating a salon experience, providing entertainment and for conditioning children to prevent anxiety experienced in real-life salons.
MOBILE DEVICE AND METHOD FOR INTERPRETING TOUCH GESTURES WITHOUT OBSTRUCTING THE SCREEN
A mobile computer device comprising a front, a back, and at least two sides. The device comprises a touch screen in the front display. The sides connect the front surface to the back surface. The mobile device comprises a side touch sensor disposed in at least one of the two sides. The mobile device also comprises a proximity sensor that senses heat, a processor, and a computer memory. The computer memory may have executable instructions for the processor that comprise activating the side touch sensor when the proximity sensor senses heat above a threshold.
Toy vehicle with a tactile response
In one embodiment there is a toy vehicle having a motor configured to cause a motion of an element of the toy. The motion of the element further accessible for manipulation by a human to in turn rotate the motor. The toy vehicle further having a processor configured to detect a back electromotive force (EMF) voltage generated by the rotation of the motor due to the manipulation by a human, and the processor being further configured to include at least a sleep state and a wake state. The processor have a function configured to transition between the sleep state and the wake state when the detected back EMF voltage reaches a pre-determined value.

Holiday telephone apparatus, system and method
A holiday telephone system comprising: a smartphone; a holiday telephone in wireless communication with the smartphone; a holiday telephone app installed on the smartphone, where the app is configured to perform a method, the method comprising: creating a new message by inputting a message into the app via the smartphone; selecting an elf character to speak the message; scheduling the app to cause the holiday telephone to ring at predetermined date, and time; and playing the message as recited by the elf character when the telephone is answered. A non-transitory computer-readable medium includes a set of instructions stored thereon that when accessed by a processor enable the processor to perform a method of creating and scheduling a message to be delivered via a telephone, the method comprising: opening a messages page by default; determining whether the user selects to continue with messages; creating a new message if the user selects to continue with messages; determining whether the user selects to use most recently messaged child; choosing select elf, edit elf, or add new elf, if the user selects to use most recently messaged child; selecting an elf character, if the user chose select elf option; choosing enter message or quick message; entering message, if the user chose enter message option; choosing call now or schedule time for message; entering date and time for telephone message to be delivered to a telephone, if the user chose schedule time for message; displaying scheduled message; changing elf name, changing ringtone associated with elf, changing voice associated with elf, changing gender of elf, if the edit elf option was selected in the choosing select elf, edit elf, or add new elf query; returning to the selecting an elf character query; entering name of new elf; entering gender of new elf, selecting ringtone associated with new elf, selecting voice associated with new elf, if add new elf is selected at the choosing select elf, edit elf, or add new elf query.
WEAPON EMULATORS AND SYSTEMS AND METHODS RELATED THERETO
A method of emulating a weapon comprising: illuminating a barrel tip locator to create an illuminated barrel tip locator when a fire signal is received; capturing an image of the illuminated barrel tip locator on a recorded media; and replacing the image of the illuminated barrel tip locator on the recorded media with a digitized visual effect.

SIMULATED FRAGMENTATION GRENADE
The invention relates to a simulated fragmentation grenade that can be rearmed for reuse, comprising a fixed part attached to springs acting on plates that move between an inner position and an outer position, an axial mobile part passing through the fixed part, the axial mobile part being pushed upwards by a spring, and being axially extended in the upper portion by a rod that is rotatably actuated by a mechanism, the rod being attached to a control casing arranged on the outside such that it can move axially and rotationally on a central extension of the body of the grenade, the axial mobile part having retention means for retaining the plates in the inner position, for releasing that retention according to the movement of the axial mobile part.
Miniature Interactive Drummer Kit
A miniature interactive drummer kit. Once assembled the miniature drummer kit is to be left out as an interactive display piece. The kit includes a base member on which a multi-piece drum set, and a multi-piece cymbal set are removably mounted, such that elements of both sets can intermix to give rise to numerous unique configurations. The kit also includes several finger operated switches and pedals that can be used to used to simulate the act of playing drums on the miniature drum set. Furthermore, a microcontroller unit is embedded in the base member and can be used to synchronize audio outputs from one or more speakers mounted on the base member with user generated drum beats from the finger operated pedals, and lighting effects from several light sources embedded in the base member and drum set.
Vacuum
