The present invention relates to children's books and, more particularly, to a book with a mechanical sound producing component that is integral to the book. The book includes at least one page having a page frame component and a movable page component that is movable with respect to the page frame component. A movable sound producing component is attached with one or both of the page frame component and the movable page component, such that the movable sound producing component is positioned between the page frame component and the movable page component. The movable sound producing component is movable with respect to the page frame component, such that movement of the movable sound producing component causes the movable sound producing component to movably engage with one or both of the page frame component and the movable page component to create a mechanically produced sound.

Described is a board that is operable as a children's book or puzzle with parts that move, slide or turn on one lateral plane to physically change an illustration or part of the item and, as they slide or turn, activate a noise related to the illustration. The board includes a generally planar top illustrative layer. A bottom base layer is attached with the top illustrative layer. The bottom base layer includes a light sensor and sound generation components for generating a sound based upon actuation of the light sensor. A moving component is movably connected with the bottom base layer. Finally, the light sensor is connected with the bottom base layer and positioned such that moving the moving component from a first position to a second position exposes the light sensor to cause the sound generation components to generate a sound.

The plurality of small containers each include a base, at least one sidewall, and a removably securable small container lid, thereby defining a small container interior volume. The small container lid has indicia disposed on an external surface. Storytelling aids fit inside the small containers interior volume. In use an individual reads a story from the source material and opens corresponding small containers at defined key points in the story to reveal storytelling aids that aid in engaging an audience with the story.

An interactive storytelling kit. The interactive storytelling kit has a story source material and a main container. The main container includes a base, at least one sidewall, and a removably securable lid, thereby defining a main container interior volume. A plurality of small containers fit inside the main container's interior volume. The plurality of small containers each include a base, at least one sidewall, and a removably securable small container lid, thereby defining a small container interior volume. The small container lid has indicia disposed on an external surface. Storytelling aids fit inside the small containers interior volume. In use an individual reads a story from the source material and opens corresponding small containers at defined key points in the story to reveal storytelling aids that aid in engaging an audience with the story.

A foldable article having a sliceform removably secured to one or more panels of the foldable article. A tab having a retaining portion may extend from at least one of the one or more panels of the foldable article. The tab may pass through an opening in the sliceform and the retaining portion may be wider than the width of the opening. The retaining member may be manipulated to pass through the opening to removably secure the sliceform to, and/or detach the sliceform from, the foldable article.

A children's book is provided having a recess formed on one or more leaves of the book wherein a container for storage of health-related articles can be disposed. The container can engage, in a fixed or replaceable manner, the back cover of the book. The container can have a cavity for storing a pill or pills, a syringe, a toothbrush, a thermometer, or added medical-related, health-related, dental-related devices or other personal care items

A multi-page illustrated and written book printed on synthetic paper with an electronics module that can record sounds through one or more microphones to solid-state, digital memory and playback pre-recorded or user recorded audio data from the digital memory device through one or more speakers is disclosed. The book may include one or more of the following either on the front or back cover or on any of the plurality of pages inside the book: mirror, signature page, pocket page, or high-contract geometric patterns.

The present invention proposes a constructive arrangement introduced in an interactive toy adapted for narrating and storytelling, comprising a housing provided with an upper wall, a lower wall, two side walls, and a back wall; wherein said housing comprises: a first longitudinal cutout provided on said upper wall; and a second longitudinal cutout provided in said upper wall or a side wall. Said interactive toy further comprises: at least one movable support element which cooperates with said upper housing wall and connects to a character member and together moves along the first longitudinal cutout; and at least one removable stage element traversing said second longitudinal cutout.

A foldable article having a sliceform removably secured to one or more panels of the foldable article. The tab may pass through an opening in the sliceform and the retaining portion may be wider than the width of the opening.
