SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR PRE-POSITIONING EQUIPMENT USING PORTABLE AC POWER SUPPLY
A system for positioning equipment comprises a hoist including an electric motor coupled to a pulley for exerting a pulling force upon a tension member that extends to a distal end configured to attach to an elevated structure. The system also comprises a portable power supply including a battery supplying DC power, and an inverter configured to generate and supply AC power to the hoist for driving the electric motor and thereby lifting the hoist toward the elevated structure. A method for pre-positioning a hoist comprises attaching a tension member of a hoist to an elevated structure; generating AC power from a DC source by an inverter of a portable power supply; and lifting the hoist using the portable power supply. Thus, the hoist can be pre-positioned in an elevated location before utility power is available.
CONVERTIBLE COUNTERWEIGHT RIGGING SYSTEM
A counterweighted theatrical rigging system for movably supporting theatrical equipment above a stage floor. The rigging system includes a batten on which the theatrical equipment is configured to be supported. A counterweight arbor of the rigging system is configured to balance and offset the weight of the loaded batten. The counterweighted theatrical rigging system is convertible between a first configuration in which the batten and the counterweight arbor are linked for corresponding movement in opposite vertical directions, and a second configuration that allows the batten to be lowered to the stage floor while the counterweight arbor remains in a lowered position for ballasting the counterweight arbor from the stage floor.

RE-CREATING THE SOUND QUALITY OF AN AUDIENCE LOCATION IN A PERFORMANCE SPACE
A computer-based method for reproducing a sound quality in a performance space is provided. The method includes accessing a multi-dimensional sound signature, stored in a computer, for an audience location in a first performance space. The method further includes receiving sound data from a sound input device in a second performance space. The method further includes modifying the sound data to match a sound characteristic of the multi-dimensional sound signature. The method further includes transmitting the modified sound data through a sound output device in the second performance space.

LIFT ASSEMBLY SYSTEMS AND METHODS
A lift assembly including an article to be lifted between a lowered position and a raised position, a flexible drive element coupled to the article and defining a longitudinal axis, a power mechanism coupled to the flexible drive element, a drum powered by the power mechanism and dimensioned to facilitate winding of the flexible drive element onto the drum, and a cable keeper providing a force on the flexible drive element to bias the flexible drive element toward the drum.
STACKING GUIDES
An example of support member is provided. The support member includes a plurality of elongated members connected to form a first elongated rigid structure. In addition, the support member includes a first elongated member of the plurality of elongated members disposed proximate to a first edge of the first elongated rigid structure with a first member top surface. The support member further includes a first stacking guide disposed on the first elongated member wherein a first attachment top surface is to slope toward the first member top surface. Also, the support member includes a second elongated member of the plurality of elongated members disposed proximate to a second edge of the first elongated rigid structure with a second member top surface. The second edge is opposite the first edge. The support member also includes a second stacking guide disposed on the second elongated member.
Modifying a sound source data based on a sound profile
In embodiments of the present invention improved capabilities are described for a computer-based method for modifying a sound source, including accessing, by an acoustic processing facility including at least one processor, a multi-dimensional sound profile of an acoustic environment, wherein the multi-dimensional sound profile comprises a time-based sound reflection sequence for the acoustic environment; and modifying, by the acoustic processing facility, a sound source data based on the multi-dimensional sound profile to generate a modified sound data.
