Foldable miter saw with safety device
A foldable miter saw with safety device includes a base unit having a working surface and an axial holder, and a cutting unit including a rotating member, a blade, a driving unit and a safety assembly that has a safety switch and a safety member. When the safety switch is not operated, the driving unit cannot drive the blade to rotate. During the period when the rotating member rotates to drive the blade from a working position to a folded position, a free end of the safety member can be rotated downward under the action of gravity, so that the safety member can rotate to an anti-touch position where the free end is relatively close to the safety switch so that the safety switch cannot be operated, and the driving unit cannot drive the blade to rotate, which can avoid accidentally touching the blade to rotate.
Track saw including plunge lockout mechanism
A saw including a lockout mechanism having a lever and a plunge stop. The lever has a trigger abutment surface and is movable between a safety position in which the trigger abutment surface inhibits actuation of a trigger and a use position in which the trigger abutment surface permits actuation of the trigger. The plunge stop is coupled to the lever and is movable with the lever between a first position and a second position. The first position corresponds with the safety position of the lever. In the first position, the plunge stop inhibits a motor housing of the saw from being moved from a raised position toward a plunged position. The second position corresponds with the use position of the lever. In the second position, the plunge stop permits the motor housing to be moved from the raised position toward the plunged position.
MITER SAW
A miter saw includes a first locking mechanism, where when the first locking mechanism is in a first state, a cutting mechanism is fixed relative to a workbench, when the first locking mechanism is in a second state, the cutting mechanism is allowed to rotate relative to the workbench, when the first locking mechanism is in a third state, the rotation of the cutting mechanism relative to the workbench is positioned, and the first locking mechanism includes a first operation member for switching the first state, the second state, and the third state of the first locking mechanism. The miter saw is easy and convenient to operate.
Compound Saw
A compound saw, including a frame; a motor driving assembly, which is sleeved in the frame and rotatable around a first axis perpendicular to a main plane of the frame relative to the frame; and a saw blade, which is mounted on an output shaft of the motor driving assembly and rotatable around a second axis passing through the output shaft relative to the motor driving assembly. The second axis is parallel to the first axis, and there is an eccentric distance between the second axis and the first axis.
ELECTRIC TOOL
An electric tool includes a motor including a plurality of windings, a power circuit configured to selectively access a first power supply and a second power supply for supplying power for the motor, a connecting circuit including a switching device configured to enable the connecting circuit to have a first connection state and a second connection state, and a signal source configured to send a first control signal, when the power circuit accesses the first power supply, to the switching device so that the connecting circuit is in the first connection state, and send a second control signal, when the power circuit accesses the second power supply, to the switching device so that the connecting circuit is in the second connection state.
Miter saw assembly with detachable circular saw
Various embodiments provide a miter saw assembly including a circular saw detachably coupled to a miter base. The circular saw includes a circular blade, a motor, a power supply, and an attachment mechanism. The motor is operable to rotate the circular blade. The power supply is operable to provide power to the motor. The attachment mechanism detachably couples with a coupling arm of the miter base. The miter base includes a base and a support arm. The support arm includes the coupling arm, a vertical pivot, and a horizontal pivot. The vertical pivot is operable to pivot the coupling arm in a vertical plane. The horizontal pivot is rotatably coupled with the base. The horizontal pivot is operable to rotate the coupling arm in a horizontal plane.
Bevel Locking System
An apparatus includes at least a table assembly, a bevel post, a bevel pin, a spring, a locking arm, and a lever. The table assembly includes a table portion and a hub portion. The table portion includes a work surface. The hub portion includes a first clamping surface. The bevel post includes a second clamping surface. The bevel pin pivotally connects the bevel post to the hub portion. The spring is configured to bias a movement of the bevel pin. The locking arm is configured to (i) disengage the spring such that the bevel pin releases the table assembly from the bevel post in a first direction and (ii) engage the spring such that the bevel pin moves the table assembly towards the bevel post in a second direction. The lever is movable between an unlocked position and a locked position. When the lever is in the unlocked position, the first clamping surface of the hub portion is in an unclamped state with the second clamping surface of the bevel post. When the lever is in the locked position, the first clamping surface of the hub portion is in a clamped state with the second clamping surface of the bevel post.
Chop saw with improved storage mode
A chop saw includes a base assembly and a saw assembly pivotally attached to the base assembly. The base assembly has a workpiece-supporting plane. The saw assembly has a blade and a motor driving the blade. A hinged connection between the base assembly and a saw assembly allows a user to rotate the saw assembly from a position where the plane of the blade extends through the workpiece-supporting plane to a position where the plane of the blade does not extend through the workpiece-supporting plane. In such position, the plane of blade may be substantially parallel to the workpiece-supporting plane. A switch or sensor may detect when the saw assembly is in the pivoted position so that the motor cannot be activated in such position.
MITER SAW
A miter saw includes a base having a peripheral wall, a table rotatably supported upon the base, and a miter angle lock. The miter angle lock includes a wear plate having a distal end engageable with the peripheral wall of the base and a cam member that moves between a locked position in which the cam member presses the distal end of the wear plate against the peripheral wall of the base for locking the table relative to the base, and an unlocked position in which the cam member is spaced from the distal end of the wear plate.
