JIGSAW BLADE STORAGE

A power tool including a housing with two housing halves joined together at a joining line. A motor housed in the housing. A blade holder which is driven by the motor and is configured to hold a blade so as to cut an object with the blade. A blade storage compartment configured to hold the blade when the blade is not in use for cutting. The blade storage compartment is formed by the two housing halves.

BLADE CLAMP FOR A RECIPROCATING POWER TOOL

A blade clamp for removably coupling a saw blade to a spindle of a reciprocating power tool includes an actuator rotatable about the spindle and a locking member movable relative to the spindle between a locking position and a release position in response to rotation of the actuator. The locking member has a first section defining a first diameter that is constant along a length of the first section. The locking member has a second section adjacent the first section and defining a second diameter that decreases along a length of the second section. The locking member has a third section adjacent the second section and defining a third diameter that is constant along a length of the third section. The third section of the locking member is engageable with the saw blade to couple the saw blade to the spindle when the locking member is in the locking position.

POWER TOOL

A power tool includes a housing, a power output element for outputting power, a motor for driving the power output element to output power, and a surface light source device for providing illumination. The surface light source device is mounted on the housing and the surface light source device includes a light exit surface allowing the surface light source device to emit light.

Reciprocating saw

A reciprocating saw includes a housing, a motor, and a drive mechanism. The drive mechanism includes a driven gear that is rotated by the motor. The driven gear is vertically-oriented within the housing and has an upper portion and a lower portion. The drive mechanism also includes a connecting rod coupled to the driven gear to translate rotary motion of the driven gear into reciprocating motion, and an output shaft coupled to the connecting rod to reciprocate relative to the housing through a cutting stroke and a return stroke. The drive mechanism further includes a counterweight coupled to the driven gear for rotation with the driven gear. The counterweight moves through the upper portion of the driven gear during the cutting stroke of the output shaft, and moves through the lower portion of the driven gear during a return stroke of the output shaft.

An accessory for a cutting blade, more particularly, to a flexible plate that attaches to the blade and blows debris when the plate reciprocates up and down with the blade is described. The plate may be thin so that the plate bends/flaps as the blade (and attached plate) moves up and down. The plate may include a slit so that the plate removably attaches to the blade via a friction fit and the plate is transparent so that the plate does not block the operator's view.

Reciprocating saw

A reciprocating saw includes a housing; a motor, disposed in a housing accommodating space and having a winding extending along a first straight direction; a first transmission wheel connected to the motor; and an input shaft driven by the motor to carry out reciprocating motion. The first transmission wheel is fixed in the accommodating space along a support shaft extending along a second straight direction, and is driven by the motor to rotate about a second straight line; the winding includes a first end and a second end along the first straight direction, a first plane perpendicular to the first straight line passes through a first end face of the first end and a second end perpendicular to the first straight line passes through a second end face of the second end; the first plane is parallel with the second plane, and the winding is located between the first plane and the second plane; at least part of the support shaft is located between the first plane and the second plane.

A reciprocating scraper blade apparatus and method providing a multi-blade unit removably mounted upon a support unit that fits the receiver of a standard reciprocating saw and positions the multi-blade unit for efficient use, with a reciprocating saw, on workpieces situated in various floor, wall, and ceiling orientations, and having various corners, crevices, and grooves, allowing safe and secure placement and manipulation of the reciprocating saw in relation to the workpiece, and allowing safe and efficient scraping of the workpiece, including its corners, crevices, and grooves.

CUTTING TOOL

A motor housing of housings forming an outer casing of a tool main body is provided with two battery attachment portions allowing attachment of rechargeable batteries. The two battery attachment portions are configured as slide attachment type battery attachment portions. The two battery attachment portions are suited to slide attachment type rechargeable batteries that are attached through sliding. The two rechargeable batteries are attached in the right-left direction of the tool main body so that the two rechargeable batteries can be arranged side by side in the direction in which the tool main body extends.
