A costume for simulating an animal comprises an upper torso covering portion which extends to at least one shoulder, a sleeve and a hand puppet. The fabric, texture, pattern, look and feel of the sleeve coordinates with that of the shoulder to which the sleeve is attached so that the costume presents a realistic and whimsical long necked animal whereby the neck is the sleeve surrounding the contained arm of the wearer. Preferably, the hand puppet is worn by the wearer's hand and has an upper jaw or beak and a lower jaw or beak and the fingers within the hand puppet control the movement of the beak to visual and entertaining advantage.

A system includes an animated character head having one or more processors configured to receive an input, to make an animation selection based on the input, and to provide a first control based on the animation selection. This invention refers to a costume apparatus for enabling a user to perform or engage in role-play activities. The costume apparatus may be worn on a user's body, and comprises a character head suitable for covering a head of an individual or user (e.g., having a chicken head appearance); a body pod (e.g., having a chicken skin and chicken body appearance and, optionally, a tail portion); a glove (which can also be a portion of a bodysuit suitable for covering an arm of an individual or user (e.g., having a chicken wing skin appearance); a leg covering (such as leggings or a bodysuit) suitable for covering legs of an individual or user (e.g., having a chicken leg appearance, optionally comprising fishnet stockings or the appearance of fishnet stockings); a removable body pod cover (e.g., having a chicken feather appearance, such as manufactured from artificial fur material); or a glove cover (e.g., having a feathered chicken wing appearance, such as manufactured from an artificial fur material).

The present disclosure provides an inflatable costume. The inflatable costume includes a main body and an elastic inner sleeve. The main body includes a head part and a body part. The head part is provided with a first opening. The elastic inner sleeve is connected to the head part, and is configured to adapt to heads with different sizes. Through the above structure, when a user puts on the inflatable costume, the face of the user can be exposed due to the arrangement of the first opening. Furthermore, as the elastic inner sleeve has elasticity, the elastic inner sleeve can be adjusted according to the size of the head of the user, which avoids the tension that may be caused by a traditional fixed design, so that the inflatable costume is more universal and practical, and the user experience is greatly improved.

Systems and methods according to the present disclosure provide a costume of a puppet or a character having customizable mixed technology interactive components that enables the wearer of the costume to interact with stimuli in the costume's or wearer's surrounding environment as the puppet or character.
