ROTATIONALLY ASYMMETRIC DOUBLE-ENDED GROOVING CUTTING INSERT, INSERT HOLDER AND CUTTING TOOL
A double-ended parting cutting insert. The cutting insert includes two cutting portions at opposite ends thereof which are oriented at 90° to each other. The cutting insert includes a pair of rake and support engagement grooves, the rake and support engagement grooves of each one of the pair converging in a direction away from a respective cutting portion. An insert holder includes a clamping portion having a resilient upper clamping jaw having an upper engagement ridge and a lower base jaw having a lower engagement ridge. A gap therebetween forms an insert receiving slot that has a slot opening. The upper and lower engagement ridges converge in a direction away from the slot opening. When the cutting insert is releasably attached to the insert holder, to constitute a fastened position of a cutting tool, the cutting insert is located in the insert receiving slot and resiliently clamped therein.

CUTTING TOOL
A cutting tool, such as a saw blade, has a carrier forming at least one cylindrical receptacle and at least one abutment jaw for a cutting insert. The cutting insert includes a cylindrical main cutting body and a cutting edge protruding radially therefrom, which on the back of the cutting edge has at least one abutment for the abutment jaw. The cutting insert can be inserted into the receptacle transversely to the cutting direction and, in the inserted position, can be rotated between an inserted position and a cutting position. The cutting insert is secured in the cutting position using an anti-rotation lock and is inserted into the cylindrical receptacle in the manner of a bayonet connection. Despite simple production and mounting conditions, the cutting tool ensures adequate stability and strength of interchangeable cutting inserts on the carrier such that thin-cut applications, such as carrier thicknesses of under 6 mm.

Apparatuses, systems, and methods for removing and installing a slasher tooth in a saw blade
An apparatus, system, and method for withdrawing slasher teeth from a slasher saw are provided. The apparatus has a handle, and a forked portion is connected to one end of the handle. A gap is formed between two prongs of the forked portion. A floating shank positioner is positioned at least partially within the gap. At least one common hole is formed through the two prongs of the forked portion. When the slasher tooth is connected to the at least one common hole, pivoting of the handle removes the slasher tooth from the pocket of the saw.

Replaceable tooth for a circular saw
A replaceable tooth for a circular saw with a base and angled cutting surfaces defining nadirs of intersection between adjacent cutting surfaces. Inserts are provided to cover facets of the angled cutting surfaces of the replaceable tooth. Plugs of a hardened material are provided immediately below each nadir of intersection to prevent erosion of the tooth base below the intersections of the inserts.

SELF-SHARPENING CUTTING TOOTH FOR A FELLING APPARATUS
A cutting tooth includes a tooth body having a mounting side, a front face spaced from the mounting side, and a plurality of lateral faces extending between the mounting side and the front face, the tooth body having an interior hardness, and a coating applied to at least one of the lateral faces to form a lateral hardface, the lateral hardface having a hardface hardness greater than the interior hardness, an edge of the lateral hardface closest to the front face and a portion of the front face adjacent the edge of the lateral hardface defining a cutting edge region of the tooth.
