Dressing method of cutting blade
A dressing method of a cutting blade includes a first cutting step of causing the cutting blade to cut into a dressing board held by a holding surface of a chuck table with a cutting depth that does not surpass the length of the region of roundness in the radial direction of the cutting blade to form a cut groove in the dressing board, and a second cutting step of causing the cutting blade to further cut into the groove bottom of the cut groove formed in the first cutting step with a cutting depth that does not surpass the length of the region of roundness in the radial direction of the cutting blade to carry out cutting on the groove bottom with tracing of the cut groove.
Blade stop devices and methods
Blade stop devices for stopping a sawblade at a predetermined stopping point relative to a grinding disk on a grinding tool of a sawblade grinding machine include a device mount frame configured for mounting with respect to the grinding disk on the grinding tool of the sawblade grinding machine. A carriage rail may be provided on the device mount frame. A blade stop carriage may be adjustable along the carriage rail between a home position and a blade stop position. A blade stop arm may include an arm base carried by the blade stop carriage and a blade stop flange carried by the arm base. Methods of stopping a sawblade at a predetermined stopping point relative to a grinding disk on a grinding tool of a sawblade grinding machine to facilitate consistent removal of a desired quantity or thickness of material from blade teeth on different sawblades are also disclosed.

Gin blade sharpening system and method of use
A gin blade sharpening system for sharpening a blank into a blade disk. The gin blade sharpening system comprises two or more grinding stations, a controller, and one or more upper grinders. The one or more upper grinders comprise at least a first upper grinder. The two or more grinding stations comprise at least a first grinding station and a second grinding station. Each among the two or more grinding stations comprise a clamp assembly configured to selectively hold the blade disk in a substantially horizontal position. A portion of the one or more upper grinders can be configured to sharpen an outer perimeter edge of the blade disk using an abrasive pad.

SAW BLADE
A method of manufacturing a saw blade. The method includes providing a body having a plurality of cutting teeth. Each cutting tooth includes a cutting tip, a rake face extending from the cutting tip, and a relief face extending from the cutting tip opposite the rake face. The body is made of a first material. The method further includes coupling a cutting insert to the cutting tip of each cutting tooth. The cutting insert defines a longitudinal axis oriented parallel to at least a portion of the rake face. The cutting insert is made of a second material that is different than the first material. Moreover, the method includes grinding the cutting insert to a desired shape.
