The sharpening marker, for example, enables a user to visually align a sharpening tool during operation by referencing both the angle and position of the etched marks relative to the tooth's cutting edge. Various embodiments may advantageously ensure consistent angular sharpening and equal tooth length across alternating left- and right-facing teeth, improving straightness and precision in cutting performance.
