RACE START JUDGING DEVICE
The race start preparation judging unit judges that the racing vehicle is within a predetermined range from the race start position based on the race start position information indicating the race start position included in the course information, the vehicle position information of the racing vehicle obtained by the vehicle position acquiring unit, and the vehicle speed information obtained by the traveling data acquiring unit. When it is judged that the racing vehicle has stopped, the race start judging unit judges that the racing vehicle has stopped at the race start position. The race start judging unit identifies the point in time at which the racing vehicle has departed after the race start preparation judging unit judges that the racing vehicle has stopped at the race start position as the point in time at which the race in which the racing vehicle participates begins.

ADJUSTABLE STARTING BLOCK SYSTEM
An adjustable starting block pedal, of a starting block, having a pedal body, a retaining clip and a repositionable pin is disclosed. The retaining clip may be attached to a pedal body side surface. The retaining clip may be configured to attach the starting pedal to a rail of the starting block, and the rail may include a rail base, a plurality of slots, and teeth. The repositionable pin may be configured to be disposed between a retaining clip body and the pedal body side surface. The repositionable pin may be configured to move vertically up or down along a retaining clip body longitudinal axis, and the repositionable pin may be configured to rest at a slot bottom portion associated with the plurality of slots.
Race start gate assembly
A gate assembly for a bicycle race start includes a plurality of gates, each mounted in a separate start position along a bar to move between a closed position and an open position. The bar is moveable between a first condition and a second condition. The assembly includes buttresses, each coupled to the bar to move between first positions and second positions in response to movement of the bar between the first condition and the second condition, wherein each buttress corresponds to a respective one of the gates. In the first condition of the bar, each buttress disables movement of the respective gate from the closed position to the open position. In the second condition of the bar, each buttress enables movement of the respective gate from the closed position to the open position.
Race start gate assembly
A gate assembly for a bicycle race start includes a plurality of gates, each mounted in a separate start position along a bar to move between a closed position and an open position. The bar is moveable between a first condition and a second condition. The assembly includes buttresses, each coupled to the bar to move between first positions and second positions in response to movement of the bar between the first condition and the second condition, wherein each buttress corresponds to a respective one of the gates. In the first condition of the bar, each buttress disables movement of the respective gate from the closed position to the open position. In the second condition of the bar, each buttress enables movement of the respective gate from the closed position to the open position.
SWIMMING START BLOCK WITH SLIDABLE TRACK START WEDGE
A swimming start block assembly having an adjustable track start wedge is disclosed. The track start wedge is slidable forward and rearward along an upper surface of a swimming start block and is lockable at a desired position by inserting locking tabs positioned at each side of the track start wedge into a set of apertures positioned along each side of the start block. The track start wedge may be spring-loaded toward a locked position and the assembly may be configured so that the locking tabs are received by apertures regardless of whether they are aligned when the wedge is released from an unlocked position.
