Combination Shovel/Pick Assembly
A combination shovel/pick assembly for shovel or picking includes a handle that is longitudinally elongate. The handle has a plurality of finger valleys each integrated into the handle to receive a respective user's fingers for enhancing gripping the handle. A shovel head is coupled to the handle for shoveling loose material. A pick is coupled to the handle to break apart solid material and the pick is positioned on an opposite end of the handle from the shovel head.
Multi-purpose tool
A multi-purpose tool or apparatus includes multiple mechanical tools. In one implementation, the multi-purpose tool includes an elongated handle, a folding axe, and a folding shovel or spade, as well as a hammer or hammer-head. The folding axe is foldable between an open position and a closed position. The folding shovel is foldable among three positions, which are a closed shovel position, a 90-degree open shovel position, and a 180-degree extended shovel position. The elongated handle is hollow and includes an elongated cavity. A folding saw, as well as a knife and a sheath to protect the knife, are stored within the elongated cavity and can be removed therefrom.
TRAVEL EXERCISE EQUIPMENT ASSEMBLIES
Example travel exercise equipment includes a barbell including a first end portion and a second end portion and a pair of yokes. Each yoke includes a base and a pair spaced-apart yoke arms extending from the base. The bases being adapted to be coupled to a corresponding end portion of the barbell. The travel exercise equipment includes a pair of containers having handles adapted to be carried by a corresponding yoke.

CONVERTIBLE SHOVEL
A shoveling and plowing device. The device may include two blades connected to a shaft. The two blades may be hinged and may be adjusted via a second, lower handle on the shaft. The adjustment may allow for the device to be used as a shovel, or the blades may be adjusted into a V-shape such that the device may be efficiently used as a plow. A wheel may be affixed to a lower portion of the device and may assist in pushing the device or lifting a load. The wheel may optionally be rotatable. The rotatable wheel may assist in navigating and maneuvering the device. The wheel may act as a fulcrum to assist in lifting the device when loading. Since the wheel is a rotatable fulcrum, it may assist the user in lifting a load and depositing it to the side.
Combined Shovel and Storage Device
The present application relates generally to storage devices, and specifically to a combined shovel and storage device for backcountry or all-terrain use comprising a shovel blade and a complementary portion, whereby the shovel blade and the complementary portion are configured to releasably secure together thereby defining a hollow space for storage therebetween. The combined shovel and storage device further includes a shovel shaft, wherein the shovel shaft is of a dimension that can be stored within the hollow space for storage, and wherein the shovel shaft contains a first end with a shovel handle and a second end opposite the first end configured to releasably secure to the shovel blade. Also disclosed is a method of using a combined shovel and storage device to shovel earth, snow, water, or any combination thereof.
System and method for leverage-assisted tool and harness
A tool is disclosed that may have a tool head and an elongated handle attached to the tool head that has a distal end connected to the tool head and a proximal end having a curved portion forming a shape that allows the tool head to be manipulated by a user. The elongated handle has a handle shaft shape that is slightly curved in a middle region. In other embodiments, the tool may further comprise a harness and an attachment mechanism so that the elongated handle of the tool may be manipulated by the user.
Combination Digging Device and Head Rest
A combination digging tool and head rest is disclosed having a planar elongate linear member having a first end and a second end, and a planar non-linear member. The linear and non-linear members are coupleable to one another at different locations to form first and second orientations. The first orientation is formed when the first end of the planar elongate linear member is coupled to the first end of the non-linear member so that the planar elongate linear member and the planar elongate non-linear member are coplanar and form a generally J-shaped figure. That figure can be used as a digging tool. The second orientation is formed when the first end of the planar elongate linear member is coupled to the side portion of the non-linear member to form a head rest.
Locking Mechanism and Safety Latch for Multi-Purpose Apparatus
Locking mechanism and safety latch for multi-purpose apparatus. The apparatus includes at least a first tool and a second tool. Each tool can rotate between open position and closed position. The locking mechanism includes a rotatable elongated lever, connected perpendicularly to a locking bar. The mechanism is switchable among at least: a first position in which the mechanism holds or locks in place both the first tool and the second tool when they are in closed positions; a second position in which the mechanism holds or locks in place both the first tool and the second tool when the first tool is in open position and the second tool is in closed position; a third position in which the mechanism holds or locks in place both the first tool and the second tool when the first tool is in closed position and the second tool is in open position.
Impact-assisted shovel
A shovel includes a shovel blade, a handle assembly with a tubular section and hammer section, where the hammer section is configured to axially slide within the tubular section to function as an impact hammer. A locking assembly locks the hammer section in one of an extended position and a compressed position relative to the tubular section. Releasing the locking assembly allows the hammer section to axially slide within the tubular section.
