System and method for reprocessing animal bedding
A method and system reprocess soiled animal bedding material commingled with animal manure. In one aspect the soiled animal bedding material is separated in a shaker to send at least a preponderance of the manure to a holding tank. In another aspect the bedding is cleaned, rinsed and color is restored. The bedding material is subsequently dried and a bedding product, fertilizer product, and/or compacted product is formed. Alternatively, the bedding material is dried (without a compacting step) to form a product. In yet another aspect, the steps of separation, cleaning, rinsing and/or color restoration may be omitted.
Polysaccharide compositions and particulate materials coated therewith
Loose particulate materials can be problematic in various aspects. For example, loose particulate materials may generate dust or be difficult to consolidate together. Fines in loose particulate materials may also be an issue. Coated particulates may alleviate some of the foregoing issues. Suitable coated particulates may comprise a particulate material comprising sand or a ceramic, and a polysaccharide composition coated upon the particulate material, the polysaccharide composition comprising a functionalized polysaccharide. Other particulate materials such as wood chips and animal litter particulates may be coated with functionalized polysaccharides to achieve similar advantages.
Disposable pet tray including a pet material
A disposable pet litter tray is formed by a sheet member that defines end wall portions and side wall portions around a floor portion. A layer of pet material is disposed on the floor portion and covered with a retaining film or equivalent layer of material that is adhered to the floor portion around the layer of pet material. The end wall and side wall portions can be folded over the floor portion and pet material, and the assembly can then be rolled up for travel, storage, sale, and/or shipping, prior to use. To use the disposable pet tray, the assembly is unrolled, and the end wall and wall portions are then raised to be substantially perpendicular to the plane of the floor portion. Then the retaining film can be removed to allow access to the pet material by a pet.
Bulk animal bedding
A bulk animal bedding material is presented comprising shredded and fiberized natural lignocellulosic material vigorously blended with a solvent and small grain particles (SGPs) to form twisted, curled, clumped, and rolled fibers with the SGPs integrated within and/or encasing said fibers.

TERRARIUM WITH A CATCH TRAY, INTERIOR CATCH TRAY, METHODS OF USE AND METHODS OF ASSEMBLY
A catch tray for a terrarium container. The tray comprises a rectangular bottom wall, first opposite rectangular side walls each separated from the bottom wall by one of first folding lines, and second opposite rectangular side walls each separated from the bottom wall by one of second folding lines. Each of the first and second side walls is oriented upwardly with respect to the bottom wall and connected to the bottom wall by the corresponding first or second folding line. Each of the first side walls is separated from adjacent one of the second side walls by two triangular corner panels connected to each other by a corner folding line and to the adjacent first and second side walls by the first or second folding lines. The triangular corner panels folded inwardly with respect to the side panels so as to define triangle shaped flaps disposed inside the tray.
Absorbent sheet for pets
The absorbent sheet for pets which can suppress the spread of the excreta of a pet and can withstand the excretion action a plurality of times is provided. An absorbent sheet (10) for pets includes a topsheet (12) disposed on a top side, a backsheet (14) disposed on a back side, and an absorber (20) provided between the topsheet and the backsheet. A recess (50) is formed at least in the absorber. The recess forms a continuous line (IL) or intermittent line (IL). The line (IL) has a curved portion which does not branch.
Process for making a straw mat, straw mat and straw barn
A method for producing a straw mat in a living space for livestock, in particular for sows and/or fattening pigs and/or piglets, confined in a straw pen, is disclosed. The method comprises the step of automatically and initially spreading straw, such as defibrated straw, into the living space up to a substantially uniform thickness (d) of the straw mat. Also disclosed is a straw pen and pen building in accordance with the disclosed method.

Litter compositions
Provided herein are compositions and methods comprising a fragrance and from about 0.5 weight % to about 5.0 weight % of a granular malodor adsorbent which can be used to eliminate malodor in animal waste. The granular malodor absorbent can be granular molecular sieves or granulated activated carbon and has a pore size from about 0.4 nm to about 2.0 nm and a total surface area from about 100 m.sup.2/g to about 1500 m.sup.2/g.
