Palmar grip
A palmar grip is provided that improves the comfort of the user and is easy to install. A body of the palmar grip contacts a surface of the handle and is wrapped around a portion of the handle to circumscribe it. A wing is attached over two free ends of the body to close the body between those free ends and fasten the body around the handle. The wing provides a palm rest for a user when gripping the handle.
Helping handle shovel system
A secondary shaft has a secondary upper end, a secondary lower end, and a secondary intermediate region. A grip is positioned on the secondary upper end of the secondary shaft. A coupling assembly releasably attaches the secondary shaft to a primary shaft of a shovel. The coupling assembly includes a resilient member coupled to the secondary lower end of the secondary shaft.
Digging implement, digging implement attachment and methods of using same
A digging implement including: a digging head (16); a substantially elongated main shaft (12) extending from the digging head (16); a main handle (14) secured to the main shaft (12) substantially opposed to the digging head (16); and an auxiliary handle assembly (140) and a footplate assembly (160) both mounted to the main shaft (12) between the digging head (16) and the main handle (14), the auxiliary handle assembly (140) and foot plate assembly (160) being each mountable to the main shaft (12) at different longitudinally spaced apart positions therealong.
ROTATABLE HANDLE
A handle is attachable to a shaft, for example, of a shovel. The shaft extends lengthwise along a shaft axis. The handle includes a collar defining an opening to receive the shaft, the collar rotatable about the shaft axis; a transverse arm extending along a transverse axis from a first end to a second end opposite the first end, the transverse arm rotatably connected to the collar at the first end; and a grip extending from the second end of the transverse arm. The grip is rotatable about the transverse axis and may be selectively axially movable along the transverse axis.
Manure Rake Apparatus
An animal waste rake is described that separates waste from animal bedding such as wood chips or straw. The manure rake apparatus of the invention includes a shaker assembly that both vibrates and shakes the rake to expeditiously separate the manure from the bedding.
Light emitting shovel assembly
A light emitting shovel assembly includes a shovel that has a shaft, a bucket that is coupled to the shaft and a handle that is removably coupled to a distal end of the shaft. The bucket is comprised of a translucent material for to passing light therethrough. A handle roller is rotatably coupled to the handle and the handle can be gripped. A shaft roller is rotatably positioned around the shaft and the shaft roller can be gripped. A handle heating coil is integrated into the handle roller to warm the user's hand and a shaft heating coil is integrated into the shaft roller to warm the user's hand. A shaft light emitter is coupled to the shaft to illuminate a work area with respect to the bucket. A bucket light emitter is coupled to the bucket and an auxiliary light emitter is coupled to the shaft.
ERGONOMIC GRIP FOR WEED TRIMMER
The device herein is a gripping means that may reversibly attach to the main shaft of a standard weed trimmer or edger. The gripping means comprises an ergonomic handle positioned onto a shaft, a shaft that connects the ergonomic handle to a clamping means, and a clamping means that clamps the device onto the main shaft of a standard weed trimmer or edger. The gripping means positions a grip above the standard grip of the weed trimmer or edger. Alternately, the gripping means may position a grip perpendicular to the standard grip of the weed trimmer or edger.
Ergonomic Material Moving
Material moving devices include ergonomic improvements that reduce extraneous work required and lessen strain experienced by users. Material moving devices include a head for receiving material to be moved and a first elongated handle with a grip at the far end for gripping by a first hand of a user. A second handle is coupled to the head for gripping by a second hand of the user. The second handle can be pivotably coupled to the head in a location or locations generally longitudinally aligned with the expected location of the center of mass of the head when loaded with material to be moved.
Gardening tool
A gardening tool includes an elongated body having a first end and a second end. An arm attachment portion is coupled substantially at the first end of the elongated body. The arm attachment portion is configured to at least partly wrap around a user's forearm. The tool also includes a pivotally adjustable handle that is coupled to and extends substantially laterally from the elongated body. The handle is disposed between the first and the second end of the elongated body. The tool further includes a pad that is coupled to the elongated body. The pad is disposed between the handle and the arm attachment portion, and its position is adjustable along a longitudinal axis of the elongated portion. A adapter mechanism is disposed at the second end of the elongated body. The adapter mechanism is configured to allow for interchanging of gardening tool heads.
