A shovel includes a continuously curved blade comprising a curved central portion that extends from a first cutting edge to a second cutting edge and a first curved wing and a second curved wing disposed along a curved central portion. The shovel also includes a base operably coupled to the continuously curved blade and comprising a first side wall coupled to a concave surface of the first curved wing, a second side wall spaced from the first side wall and coupled to a concave surface of the second curved wing, and a third side wall coupled to the curved central portion, wherein the third side wall extends from the first side wall and the second side wall toward the first cutting edge.

The present invention is directed to a hand tool that includes an implement, a tang extending from the implement, and a handle secured tot the tang. The handle includes an opposing surface facing away from the implement, and a portion of the tang is configured to engage a portion of the opposing surface to mechanically lock the handle and tang together. The invention relates to a process for manufacturing a cutting tool for a vegetation cutting machine, such as a brush cutter or an edge trimmer, comprising the following steps: (a) producing by an injection molding process at a first temperature a preform (200) made of a polyamide mixture comprising at least one homopolymer and at least one copolymer; (b) stamping the preform at a second temperature lower than the first temperature so as to cause polymer chains of the polyamide mixture to extend according to at least two different directions, thereby forming a planar piece (201), (c) cutting the planar piece (201) to define at least one cutting edge of the cutting tool (2).
