A welding electrode is mounted in a tool holder that is part of a handle apparatus. The handle apparatus has an electrode power connection. The handle apparatus has a housing defining a haft that can be grasped in the hand of an operator. A vibrator is mounted inside the haft. The vibrator includes a force transmitter in the form of a cantilevered beam. The cantilevered beam is electrically conductive and carries power to the tool holder. The tool holder has a handle that permits the welding rod to be rotated about its axis as it wears during deposition of welding rod material on the object work piece.

Cathode seated liquid coolant tube for a plasma arc cutting system

A liquid coolant tube for a plasma arc cutting torch including a hollow elongated inner body shaped to translate within a hollow elongated outer body. The hollow elongated outer body of the liquid coolant tube is shaped to fixedly connect to the plasma arc cutting torch and includes a set of electrode guides. An external surface of the hollow elongated outer body and the set of electrode guides partially define a set of coolant flow channels between the set of electrode guides. The set of electrode guides are shaped to facilitate alignment of an electrode within the plasma arc cutting torch.

A TIG (Tungsten Inert Gas) welding torch (10) comprises a torch body (22), a collet (38a,b,c) for retaining a tungsten rod, and a back cap (42), in which the collet 838a,b,c) passes through an aperture in the torch body (22) from the front of the torch body (22) to the rear of the torch body (22), and is joined directly to the back cap (42) by a screw thread (40a,b,c), the collet (38a,b,c) being drawn backwards against a front section of the torch body (22), to close the collet (38a,b,c) and retain the tungsten rod when the screw thread (40a,b,c) is tightened.

WELDING TORCH

To provide a compact welding torch in which a motor can be easily replaced, in which, when a motor capable of high-speed welding is used for a long time in a high current region, heat generated by the motor can be sufficiently cooled, and in which the motor can be protected from spatters or the like.

A first cooler that cools a first side surface of a motor parallel to a shaft of the motor and a second cooler that cools a second side surface of the motor different from the first side surface are included. The first cooler has a first inflow port and a first outflow port for a cooling fluid, and a first flow passage that connects the first inflow port and the first outflow port. The second cooler has a second inflow port and a second outflow port for the cooling fluid, and a second flow passage that connects the second inflow port and the second outflow port. The first outflow port and the second inflow port open in a direction crossing the shaft of the motor and are connected to each other directly or indirectly.
