A method of processing a transparent workpiece that includes directing a laser beam combination comprising a first beam and a second beam into the transparent workpiece simultaneously, the first beam passing through an impingement surface of the transparent workpiece at a first impingement location and the second beam passing through the impingement surface at a second impingement location. The first beam forms a first laser beam focal line in the transparent workpiece and generates a first induced absorption to produce a first defect segment within the transparent workpiece, the first defect segment having a first chamfer angle and the second beam forms a second laser beam focal line in the transparent workpiece and generates a second induced absorption to produce a second defect segment within the transparent workpiece, the second defect segment having a second chamfer angle, the second chamfer angle differing from the first chamfer angle.

The collector is spaced from the diffuser such that a collection zone is defined therebetween, and the spatter collection device is configured to translate relative to the powder bed such that the collection zone overlaps with the field of view of the array.
LASER WELDING CONTROL METHOD, APPARATUS AND SYSTEM, AND ELECTRONIC DEVICE
A laser welding control method, apparatus and system, and an electronic device are disclosed, the method includes: receiving a current position of a welding head fed back by an encoder; determining whether the current position reaches a set position; and in response to the welding head reaching the set position, sending a laser control signal to a laser device to control the laser device to output laser at the set position.
Laser Printing of Solder Pastes
A method for fabrication includes providing a donor sheet, including a donor substrate, which is transparent in a specified spectral range, a sacrificial layer, which absorbs optical radiation within the specified spectral range and is disposed over the donor substrate, and a donor film, which includes a paste and is disposed over the sacrificial layer. The donor sheet is positioned so that the donor film is in proximity to a target location on an acceptor substrate. A pulsed laser beam impinges on the sacrificial layer with a pulse energy and spot size selected so as to ablate the sacrificial layer, thus causing a viscoelastic jet of the paste to be ejected from the donor film and to deposit, at the target location on the acceptor substrate, a dot having a diameter less than the spot size of the laser beam.
A METHOD FOR PREPARING A CROSS-SIZE MICRO-NANO STRUCTURE ARRAY
A method for preparing a cross-dimension micro-nano structure array includes: S1. providing a workpiece immersed in the electrolyte as the first electrode, providing a trimming wire electrode as the second electrode and setting it above the workpiece, providing an interference beam adjuster and outputting multi-beam laser interference to irradiate the surface of the workpiece; S2. The power supply between the first electrode and the second electrode forms a loop, and drives the trimming wire electrode to reciprocate relative to the workpiece, and the workpiece undergoes electrochemical dissolution or electrochemical deposition at the corresponding position of the trimming wire electrode, and form a micro-nano structure array without a mask, and solves the problem of low output power of the existing ultrashort pulse power supply, improves the processing accuracy of the micro-nano structure array, does not require electrolyte for high-speed flow, and improves system safety and reduce the cost.
LASER BONDED DEVICES, LASER BONDING TOOLS, AND RELATED METHODS
In one example, a system comprises a laser assisted bonding (LAB) tool. The LAB tool comprises a stage block and a first lateral laser source facing the stage block from a lateral side of the stage block. The stage block is configured to support a substrate and a first electronic component coupled with the substrate, and the first electronic component comprises a first interconnect. The first lateral laser source is configured to emit a first lateral laser beam laterally toward the stage block to induce a first heat on the first interconnect to bond the first interconnect with the substrate. Other examples and related methods are also disclosed herein.
Apparatus for multi-nozzle metal additive manufacturing
An assembly for rapid manufacturing of symmetrical objects by direct metal deposition is disclosed. A rotary stage provides rotational movement to an object supported by the stage around a central stage axis. Nozzles are spaced above the rotary stage for performing direct metal deposition for building an object supported by the stage. Each nozzle is independently moveable along a horizontal axis and independently pivotable, and combined, moveable along a vertical axis for providing symmetrical movement corresponding to a symmetrical deposition configuration of the object while the object is rotated around the central stage axis.

An additive manufacturing system includes a laser array including a plurality of laser devices. Each laser device of the plurality of laser devices generates an energy beam for forming a melt pool in a powder bed. The additive manufacturing system further includes at least one optical element. The optical element receives at least one of the energy beams and induces a predetermined power diffusion in the at least one energy beam.
Selective laser solidification apparatus and method
