A metal bellows for downhole use includes: a bellows capsule with a first end and a second end; an inner diameter side and an outer diameter side arranged between the first end and the second end; where the bellows capsule comprises a first bellows convolution and second bellows convolution and optionally additional bellows convolutions; and each bellows convolution comprises: a root on the inner diameter side of the bellows capsule; a first sidewall extending from the root toward the outer diameter side of the bellows capsule with a first connection point at the distal end; a second sidewall extending from the root toward the outer diameter side of the bellows capsule with a second connection point at the distal end and wherein the second sidewall is on the opposite side of the root as the first sidewall; wherein: the bellows convolutions are formed as a single piece; and the second sidewall connection point of the first bellows convolution is permanently affixed to the first sidewall connection point of the second bellows convolution.

The convoluted tip portion extends or bends in response to fluid pressure manipulation, contact with tissue, manipulation with an internal spring or wire, or by a user pushing, pulling, or twisting the catheter directly or via an introducer sheath or the like. The convoluted tip portion may further include an RF ablation element or other energy-driven technique to create continuous linear lesions or a sensing element.

The invention relates to a heat transfer tube (9) for falling film evaporation having a heating medium surface (21) to be heated by a heating medium, a falling film surface (20) to have spent liquor passing over it, and being made from an iron based high alloy stainless steel material with an alloy content above 16.00% for Chromium and above 1% for Nickel. The falling film surface of the heat transfer tube is equipped with one or several protrusions/indentations forming a multitude of stamped bumps (SB) on the envelope surface of a heat transfer tube such that the distance between adjacent stamped bumps (SB) along a line on the envelope surface parallel to the longitudinal axis of the heat transfer tube is within the range of 3 to 250 mm, said stamped bumps (SB) having a height (hp) in the range 0.3 to 5.0 mm, a width (wp) in the range 1.0-20 mm, and an inclination angle (a) versus a plane orthogonal to a longitudinal axis (CC) of the heat transfer tube in a range of 0-70 degrees so that each stamped bump (SB) is inclined and extends along at least a portion of the heat transfer tube or extend within a plane orthogonal to the longitudinal axis of the heat transfer tube. The invention also relates to a method for manufacturing said heat transfer tube.

The falling film surface of the heat transfer tube is equipped with at least one weld ridge (WR; WR.sub.1, WR.sub.2), said weld ridge having a height (h; h.sub.2) in the range 0.3 to 5.0 mm, a width (w; w.sub.2) in the range 0.5-15 mm, and an inclination angle (; .sub.1, .sub.2) versus a plane orthogonal to a longitudinal axis (CC) of the heat transfer tube in a range of 0-70 degrees so that each weld ridge is inclined and extends helically along at least a portion of the heat transfer tube or extend within a plane orthogonal to the longitudinal axis of the heat transfer tube and forms well ridge portions on the falling film surface such that the distance along the longitudinal axis of the heat transfer tube between adjacent weld ridge portions is within the range of 0 to 250 mm. The invention also relates to a method for manufacturing said heat transfer tube.

A vertical bundle air-cooled heat exchanger, a finned tube assembly for an air cooled condenser and method for forming the same, and a system for removing thermal energy generated by radioactive materials. In one aspect, an air cooled condenser sized for industrial and commercial application includes an inlet steam distribution header for conveying steam, a condensate outlet header for conveying condensate, an array of tube bundles each having a plurality of finned tube assemblies having a bare steel tube with an exposed outer surface and a set of aluminum fins brazed directly onto the tube by a brazing filler metal. The steel tubes may be spaced apart by the aluminum fins and have an inlet end fluidly coupled to the inlet steam distribution header and an outlet end fluidly coupled to the outlet header. A forced draft fan may be arranged to blow air through the tube bundles.

A method of fabricating the internally finned pressure vessel includes providing the apparatus, loading a plurality of fins into the slots of the positioning discs, inserting the apparatus containing the plurality of fins into a pressure vessel, attaching the plurality of fins to the pressure vessel by a brazing process, and removing the apparatus from the pressure vessel.
