CUTTING TOOL AND METHOD OF ASSEMBLING CUTTING TOOL
A cutting tool comprises a shank having an insertion portion protruding from a shank main body, a head in which an insertion hole into which the insertion portion is inserted is formed, and a spacer disposed in a gap between the shank main body and the head. The insertion portion has a tapered outer circumferential surface which gradually decreases in diameter from the other side toward one side in the axial direction. The insertion hole has a tapered inner circumferential surface coming into surface contact with the tapered outer circumferential surface. A head end surface of the head which faces the other side in the axial direction comes into surface contact with a surface facing one side in the axial direction of the spacer.

An induction heating device for a shrink-clamping and/or unshrink-unclamping of tools into and/or out of a tool holder has an induction heating unit having at least one induction coil configured to thermally expand at least a portion of the tool holder arranged in a receiving region of the induction heating unit. The induction heating device further has at least one magnetic flux conducting unit for a conduction of a magnetic flux generated by the induction coil, the magnetic flux conducting unit having at least one magnetic flux conducting element. The induction heating device further has a sleeve element, arranged on the magnetic flux conducting element and covering the magnetic flux conducting element on at least one side of the magnetic flux conducting element that faces toward the receiving region in at least one operating state of the magnetic flux conducting unit.
TOOL HOLDER, DEVICE AND METHOD FOR CLAMPING AND UNCLAMPING TOOLS
A device for clamping and unclamping tools in a collet comprises a tool holder, a collet and a movable tensioner. The tool holder has a machine side and a tool side that is configured to accommodate a tool shank of a tool. The collet is arranged for clamping the tool shank inside the collet, the collet having a conical outer surface, which rests against a correspondingly shaped inner surface of the tool holder. The tensioner is configured to effect an axial movement of the collet with respect to the tool holder when the tool holder is thermally expanded, for clamping and unclamping the collet with the tool shank therein. The tensioner is arranged inside the tool holder on the machine side of the collet. A method is used to clamp tools in a collet of a tool holder.

A hot air arbor heater has a bottom plate, an arbor placing base, a support unit, a hot air gun assembly, and a cooling assembly. The bottom plate has an installation portion and an adjusting portion. The arbor placing base is mounted on the installation portion of the bottom plate. The support unit is mounted on the adjusting portion of the bottom plate. The hot air gun assembly is fixed to the support unit. The hot air gun assembly has a hot air gun and a heating hood. The hot air gun is fixed to the support unit. The heating hood is fixed to the hot air gun. The cooling assembly is fixed to the support unit.
DEVICE AND METHOD FOR INSERTING A TOOL INTO A TOOL RECEPTACLE
The present invention provides a device (10) for inserting a tool (18) into a tool receptacle (14), said device comprising a first holding means (12), which is configured to hold a tool receptacle (14), a second holding means (16), which is configured to hold a tool (18), a linear guide (20), by means of which the second holding means (16) is able to move in relation to the first holding means (12) in an axial direction running along or parallel to a main axis (X) in order to move the tool closer to the tool receptacle and insert it into the tool receptacle, a sensing arrangement (40), which is able to move in an axial direction and is configured to sense in a contact-free manner an axial position of a first reference point (R1) associated with the first holding means and to sense in a contact-free manner an axial position of a second reference point (R2) for a tool held by the second holding means, and a measuring arrangement, which measures an axial displacement path of the sensing arrangement. The invention furthermore relates to a method for inserting a tool as well as a device having a clamping arrangement for holding the tool.
ADAPTER FOR A COLLET CHUCK, COMPRISING A MOUNTING
The present invention relates to a device for heating adapters for mounting tools for use in machine tools, comprising a base part in which an adapter for inserting or removing the tool can be arranged such that the insertion direction of the tool extends towards the base part, and a heating part which is designed for heating the adapter arranged in the base part, the base part and the heating part being displaceable relative to one another in the insertion direction of the tool. In this case, the base part comprises a mounting device that is designed for retaining the adapter in a fixed manner on the base part during heating. The invention further relates to a system formed of a device of this kind and an adapter, and to a method for operating the device.

DEVICE FOR COOLING A SHRINK-FIT CHUCK
A device for cooling a shrink-fit chuck with a cooling head, which contains a cooling attachment that can be mounted on the shrink-fit chuck and an intake tube connected to the cooling attachment for the drawing of air at an input of a passage opening in the cooling attachment. In order to make possible a limited noise emission, the cooling head includes a cooling air feed at least partially insulated by a sound insulation device to supply air to the input of the passage opening on the cooling attachment.

The invention relates to a method for monitoring the temperature of the sleeve part of a tool holder, which sleeve part is inserted into the induction coil of a contraction device, wherein the instantaneous inductance of the induction coil is measured during the inductive heating and the current supply to the induction coil is influenced if the instantaneous inductance approaches, reaches, or exceeds a specified value.

Shrink-fitting device for clamping and unclamping tools that have a tool shank, having a tool receptacle which has a sleeve part that is open at its free end and is made of electrically conductive material, for receiving the tool shank in a frictional manner, and having an induction coil that encloses the sleeve part of the tool receptacle, is able to be subjected to a high-frequency alternating current and is configured as a ring coil or a cylindrical coil, for heating the sleeve part (HP), wherein the induction coil bears, on its outer circumference, a first casing made of magnetically conductive and electrically non-conductive material, and the device comprises power semiconductor components for producing an alternating current feeding the induction coil, and an induction coil housing that preferably consists of insulating material, wherein the induction coil and its first casing are surrounded at the outer circumference by a second casing which consists of magnetically non-conductive material and electrically conductive material and is designed such that a stray field that occurs in the vicinity thereof generates eddy currents in the second casing and as a result the stray field is weakened, and in that at least the power semiconductor components are accommodated together with the induction coil in an induction coil housing which encloses the induction coil, the first and second casing thereof, and the power semiconductor components, at least around the circumference of the induction coil.
