PROCESSING METHOD OF CYLINDER HEAD FOR MULTI-CYLINDER ENGINE
A processing method of a cylinder head for a multi-cylinder engine includes a step of fixing the cylinder head to a fixing jig of a machining apparatus in a longitudinal placement posture in which a plurality of recesses are arrayed vertically, the plurality of recesses configuring portions of combustion chambers of respective cylinders, a step of calculating inclination information of the cylinder head in the longitudinal placement posture by measuring relative positions of at least two recess reference surfaces among recess reference surfaces which are respectively formed in the plurality of recesses, a step of correcting a recess processing condition by a tool of the machining apparatus, the recess processing condition being defined in advance, based on the calculated inclination information, and a step of processing respective inner walls of the plurality of recesses by the tool of the machining apparatus based on the corrected recess processing condition.
Adaption device for mounting fixture
The adaption device is fastened to a workstation, and fixtures may be conveniently and reliably joined or detached from the adaption device. The adaption device mainly includes a main member having a number of sockets on a front side for mounting a fixture. Inside the main member, there are specifically-shaped blocks in an indentation of the main member, a shaft with dual sets of threads of opposite directions driving the blocks to move away from or towards each other, and rods in radially directional ducts driven by the blocks to move along the ducts into the sockets to lock the fixture 30 and automatically restored by elastic elements. A fixture as such may be conveniently, reliably, and precisely installed on a workstation through the adaption device, and the adaption device allows the manufacturing of products of large varieties to be conducted economically and efficiently.
MODULAR MACHINE TOOL WORK HOLDING COMPONENTS
A workholding clamp for securing a workpiece to a work surface comprised of a fixed body secured to the work surface and having a first inclined surface; a sliding jaw having a second inclined surface residing against and parallel to the first inclined surface, a clamp face and at least one obround opening; and at least one clamping fastener residing within the at least one obround opening and being tightened to cause the second inclined surface to slide against the first inclined surface. A workholding pivot clamp for securing a workpiece to a work surface, and a work stop for reliably locating a workpiece relative to a work surface are also described.
CLAMPING DEVICE
A clamping device includes a zero-point clamping system, which can be actuated by a working medium; a machine vice, which can be coupled to the system; and a gripping and positioning device for transporting and positioning the machine vice on the zero-point clamping system. The zero-point clamping system contains at least one coupling element and the gripping and positioning device contains a docking device having at least one docking element, which can be coupled to the coupling element, for supplying the working medium to the system. To facilitate coupling, the at least one coupling element of the system is offset parallel to a receiving opening for a clamping element on the machine vice, and the at least one docking element is positioned in such a way that it is coupled to the coupling element by retraction of the clamping element located on the machine vice into the receiving opening.
Workpiece holder device and method for mounting a workpiece in a workpiece holding device
A workpiece holder device for workpieces to be machined on multiple sides, wherein the workpiece can be held axially and radially relative to the first axis between a first workpiece holder, operatively connected to at least one support spindle of the workpiece holder device and rotatable about the first axis, and at least one second workpiece holder, operatively connected to at least one drive spindle of the workpiece holder device and rotatable about the first axis, by force locking by means of a clamping force which can be built up in the manner of a vice between the first workpiece holder and the second workpiece holder in the axial direction of the first axis and acting on the opposite sides of the workpiece.
Rotating mill vise jaws
A vise jaw combination used with a milling machine vise to hold a work-piece having either parallel edges or non-parallel edges. Wherein, the milling machine vise in this application disposes at least one movable member having threaded holes cooperating with fasteners to join the movable member and the vise jaw combination comprising a vertical axis tool post and a rotatable vise jaw. Wherein, the vertical axis tool post comprises a detachable wall disposing correlative thru holes for cooperating with the threaded holes and fasteners disposed at the movable member, whereby the vertical axis tool post is joined to the movable member disposed at the milling machine vise. Wherein, the rotatable vise jaw consists of a one-piece structure disposing a thru hole for receiving a vertical shaft disposed at the vertical axis tool post, whereby the rotatable vise jaw is joined to the vertical axis tool post.
MAGNETIC BASE
A magnetic base for an electric power tool, in particular for a magnetic core drilling machine. The magnetic base having a base body that has a contact surface for contacting a workpiece to be machined, at least one first permanent magnet and at least one second permanent magnet arranged in the base body, the at least one and second permanent magnet having magnetic forces that interact to form a resulting holding force. The at least one first permanent magnet and the at least one second permanent magnet are supported in the base body and rotatable around its own rotation axis between a first position, in which the resulting holding force of the magnetic base is maximized, and a second position, in which the resulting holding force of the magnetic base is minimized.
Vice
A vice including two clamping gaps (10, 20). A first body (1) includes a first jaw (11) and a second body (2) includes a second jaw (21), between which is formed a first clamping gap (10). A third body (3) is connected by an axis (9) to the first body (1), wherein the third body (3) includes a third jaw (31), which is adapted to rotate around the axis (9). The first body (1) includes a fourth jaw (41) opposite the third jaw (31), wherein between the third jaw (31) and the fourth jaw (41) is formed a second clamping gap (20).
Straight Edge Clamping Device
A clamping device has a clamp surface with a base jaw and a countering jaw attached to a clamp surface. The base jaw has one or more through holes from its front base face to its rear base face so that a base accessory may be attached to the base jaw using the through holes in the base jaw. Likewise, the countering jaw also has one or more through holes from its front countering face to its rear countering face so that a countering accessory may be attached to the countering jaw using the through holes in the countering jaw. Because the clamping device has a plurality of through holes in the jaws, an accessory (such as a story stick) may be easily removably or fixedly attached to the face of either jaw by placing the accessory to the front face of a jaw and have pins or screws inserted through the rear face of the jaw to tighten the accessory onto the face of the jaw. There is no need to blindly matching the holes on the front face of a jaw with the holes on the accessory or drill a matching hole into the accessory prior to placing it on the jaw.
