Band saw machine
A band saw machine includes a base having a cutting fluid reservoir, a saw blade housing movable in an up-down direction, a pair of saw blade wheels around which a band saw blade are wound, a downstream main vise having a pair of downstream main vise jaws for clamping a product correspondent portion of the workpiece, a discharge table for discharging a product to an outside of the cutting fluid reservoir, and a product feed mechanism that feed the product cut out from the workpiece to a side on an upstream end of the discharge table. A working-side running area of the band saw blade and a working-opposite-side running area of the band saw blade are positioned within the cutting fluid reservoir, and the upstream end of the discharge table is positioned on a downstream side from a wheel center line connecting centers of the pair of saw blade wheels.
Clamping mechanism for hydraulic work support
A work support and method of clamping a translatable component of a hydraulic work support system. The work support may include a rigid, hollow slotted collet, a sleeve, and the translatable component, such as a plunger or rod. Hydraulic fluid may be pumped into an inlet of the hydraulic work support system to hydraulically actuate the translatable component outward from a first retracted position to a second extended position. The hydraulic fluid may further be pumped to the sleeve at a sufficient pressure that the sleeve presses against the collet. The collet responds thereto by flexing into contact with the translatable component, thus holding the translatable component in the second extended position. The slots in the collet allow for flexure even when using a thicker material with stronger column strength.

Flexible clamping device
The present application discloses a flexible clamping device. A sleeve is fixed on a base, an adjusting shaft is connected with a mandrel and the sleeve respectively, the mandrel is fixed on the upper end face of the adjusting shaft, and the bottom outer wall of the adjusting shaft is in small clearance fit with the inner wall of the sleeve; a lock screw is installed on the upper right side wall of the sleeve, a pinion is installed on the upper left side wall of the sleeve via a rotating shaft, saw teeth are provided on the side wall of a adjusting shaft, and the pinion can be engaged with the side teeth of the adjusting shaft.

A fixing jig for fixing a steel material includes a nut, a screw shaft screwed to the nut, a handle attached to the screw shaft, and a contact portion relatively rotatably attached to the handle. A plurality of screw holes are formed in an outer peripheral portion of the contact portion. The first extension member includes a long cylindrical portion, an extension side contact portion provided at a tip end portion of the cylindrical portion, and a connecting portion provided at a base end portion of the cylindrical portion and connected to the contact portion. The connecting portion includes a plurality of through holes formed in an outer peripheral portion of the connecting portion, and long engagement holes each extending from each of the plurality of through holes.
Support block for board cutting
A carpentry block is provided to support a remote end of a board or work piece to be cut with a table saw or chop saw. The block has a triangular body which can be positioned on any base to define three different heights to support the remote work piece end. The block can also be positioned on the one end to define a fourth height for work piece support. An extension member can be added to the block to provide additional heights with the block, the outer end of the work piece is level with the saw table, thereby assuring an accurate cut of the work piece by the saw blade.

A fixture for holding a barrel-shaped part, including an interior surface, in a fixed position includes a body configured to fit inside the barrel-shaped part and a support ring coupled to the body. The support ring includes a peripheral channel. The fixture further includes a bladder tube engaged with the peripheral channel of the support ring and inflatable to engage the interior surface of the barrel-shaped part when the body is inside the barrel-shaped part.

The present disclosure relates to lift assemblies, and related methods and components, for substrate processing chambers. In one implementation, a lift assembly for disposition in relation to a substrate processing chamber includes a first motor, a first drive assembly coupled to the first motor, and a first support block coupled to the first drive assembly. The first motor is configured to linearly move the first support block using the first drive assembly. The lift assembly includes a second motor, a second drive assembly coupled to the second motor, and a second support block coupled to the second drive assembly. The second motor is configured to linearly move the second support block using the second drive assembly, and the second motor is configured to linearly move the second support block independently of the first motor linearly moving the first support block.
Floating shot pin assembly and method
A device and method of a floating shot pin combines the actions of a floating pin with a retracting pin. The assembly includes a body having an internal inward taper; and a pin retainer shaft at least partially housed within the body and connected to a cylinder shaft. The pin retainer shaft including a shaped shoulder portion corresponding to the inward taper. In an extended state, the cylinder shaft urges the shaped shoulder portion of the pin retainer shaft to engage with the inward tapered portion of the body creating a locked position to support a workpiece on a pin while work is performed. In a retracted state, the cylinder shaft retracts leaving the locked position allowing the pin retainer shaft to float within tolerances in the connection between the pin retainer shaft and the cylinder shaft thereby relieving pressure on a pin while the workpiece is removed.
TOOL HOLDER FOR A MACHINE WITH AN IMPROVED SAFETY SYSTEM
A tool holder for a machine includes a frame and an actuator that can be moved from a retracted state to an extended state and back. The frame includes a hook shaped recess having an opening and a cut out arranged at a distance from the hook shaped recess so that a front bracket pin of a tool can releasably connect to the hook shaped recess by entering the opening and a rear bracket pin of the tool can releasably connect to the cut out. The actuator is fixedly connected to the frame with one end. The actuator includes a locking element that is designed to change the shape of the cut out in the extended state of the actuator. The actuator includes a securing assembly designed to reduce the size of the opening of the hook shaped recess in the retracted state of the actuator. The rear bracket pin can enter the cut out in the retracted state of the actuator and the front bracket pin can enter the hook shaped recess in the extended state of the actuator.
