Machine tool having function of diagnosing abnormality of speed reducer of tool changer
Tool mass arrangement patterns of masses of tools loaded onto tool holding parts of a tool magazine and thresholds, which are associated with the patterns and used to diagnose the abnormality of a speed reducer, are stored after associating the patterns with the thresholds. In addition, the masses of the tools loaded onto the respective tool holding parts are stored. Further, a tool mass arrangement pattern similar to a stored tool mass arrangement, among the stored tool mass arrangement patterns, is selected, and a threshold associated with the selected tool mass arrangement pattern is set as a threshold to be used to diagnose the abnormality of the speed reducer.
Automatic quick exchange tool for nutrunner sockets
A tool exchange assembly and related method configured to swap change tool assemblies with a nutrunner constructed in accordance to one example of the present disclosure includes a nest. The nest has a lower jaw portion and an upper jaw portion. The lower jaw portion has first and second lower fingers that cooperate to define a lower slot. The upper jaw portion has first and second upper fingers that cooperate to define an upper slot. The nest is configured to receive a change tool assembly. Relative movement of the change tool assembly and the nest urges a sleeve on the change tool assembly to move between a locked position and an unlocked position.
Cutting device
A controller of a cutting device includes a first reference point detection processor detecting an actual position of a first reference point on a top surface of a first protrusion of a magazine, a second reference point detection processor detecting an actual position of a second reference point on a top surface of the second protrusion of the magazine, a sensor offset calculation processor calculating an offset of an actual position of a tool sensor of the magazine with respect to a designed position of the tool sensor based on the first reference point and the second reference point, a stocker offset calculation processor calculating an offset of an actual position of the stocker of the magazine with respect to a designed position of the stocker based on the first reference point and the second reference point, and a movement control processor controlling a movement mechanism based on the offset of the tool sensor and the offset of the stocker.
Chain-type tool magazine
A chain-type tool magazine for detachably holding a plurality of pots on a chain and circulating the pots, provided with: U-shaped link members having openings for detachably holding pots, the link members having first rollers protruding on the side of the openings and second rollers on the side opposite from the opening; link members which do not have a roller; a chain assembly in which the plurality of link members are alternately joined by pins in an endless manner; guides for guiding the first rollers and the second rollers so that the chain assembly bends in the forward and reverse directions and circulates in a meandering manner; and driving means for circularly driving the chain assembly.
Tool magazines of mechanical arrangements and methods for administering tools
A tool magazine for tools of a machine tool for processing workpieces includes a first magazine unit that is close to a processing station of the machine tool and a second magazine unit that is remote from the processing station of the machine tool. The second magazine unit includes a permanent tool carrier and a temporary tool carrier. The permanent tool carrier is permanently accessible to a tool handling device. The temporary tool carrier is temporarily accessible to the tool handling device.
Tool magazine device and machine tool
A tool magazine device includes a rail that is annularly formed and that has a separation section at a part in a circumferential direction of the rail and a holding ring that is arranged coaxially with the rail and that is rotated by a driving motor. The holding ring is provided with a plurality of holding sections that are open in an axial direction of the holding ring. The holding sections are arranged in the circumferential direction of the holding ring. A tool pot is held to be insertable into and extractable from each holding section. A conveyance unit sends out the tool pot placed in the holding section to an exchange position and sends the tool pot into the holding section from the exchange position. A roller supported by each tool pot rolls on the rail in response to the rotation of the holding ring.
Boring bar arrangement
A boring-bar arrangement includes a boring bar, a securing device, and a clamping bolt. The securing device has a reduction sleeve, which is secured in a tool chuck, which has a front end that faces away from the tool chuck and a protruding hollow section which receives the boring bar. The hollow section has a hollow-section interior, a hollow-section outer wall, and a hollow-section wall which is arranged therebetween. The hollow-section wall has a first thickness in a side region where the cutting tool protrudes from the boring bar which is less than a second thickness in a rest of the hollow-section wall. The boring bar is releasably secured as a replaceable head, via its back end, at a front end of the protruding hollow section. A front end of the clamping bolt has a male thread which sits in the female thread of the boring bar.
TOOL MAGAZINE DEVICE
A tool magazine device including: a tool transport unit in which a plurality of tool pots are disposed at predetermined intervals on the outer periphery of the tool transport unit and which is configured to circulate and transport each tool pot along a trajectory that circulates in up-and-down direction; and a chip guide disposed along a tip trajectory of a tool held in the tool pots and including a guide surface that receives and guides chips separated from the tool. According to the tool magazine device, chips and the like fallen from the tool held in the tool pots can be easily collected.
Tool magazine
The present disclosure relates to a tool magazine of a machine tool such as a moving column-type machining center, in which a magazine unit is installed on a saddle, a tool accommodated in a gripper part of the magazine unit is loaded or unloaded in a direction perpendicular to a tool axis, and a gripping part of a change arm directly grips a flange portion of the tool at the time of changing the tools by means of a tool changing part movably installed on the saddle and a tool changing part transfer part configured to move the tool changing part independently of a column, thereby reducing tool change time, improving productivity, minimizing a collision or mechanical interference, and improving stability and reliability in the medium-sized or large-sized machine tool having a length in a width direction.
CUTTING BLADE SUPPLYING APPARATUS
A cutting blade supplying apparatus includes a cutting blade stocker that stocks a plurality of cutting blades, a carrying unit that carries out the cutting blade from the cutting blade stocker and carries the cutting blade to a cutting apparatus, a transferring unit that transfers the cutting blade carried by the carrying unit to a blade replacing unit of the cutting apparatus, and a control unit. The control unit selects the cutting blade needed by the cutting apparatus and causes the cutting blade to be carried by the carrying unit to the cutting apparatus.
