Retrofit for current CNC machines to allow for ‘shaping’ style machining process
An apparatus configured to convert a rotary machine to a non-rotary machine is provided. The apparatus may include a tool body that engages a rotary head of a CNC mill and a rotation restraint member that is fixed at a stationary position relative to a rotational axis of the rotary head. An arm of the tool body may engage the rotation restraint member to prevent rotation of the tool body. A cutting tool may be coupled to the tool body such that rotation thereof is also fixed. The arm of the tool body may include an elongated aperture that allows for slight pivoting of the tool body and the cutting tool to facilitate chip removal and cutting in opposing directions. Related methods are also provided.
Applicators for delivering glutinous substance to workpiece from end-effector and associated apparatuses, systems, and methods
An applicator for delivering a glutinous substance to a workpiece from an end-effector is disclosed. The applicator comprises a body and a plunger. The plunger comprises a gate, movable within an outlet portion of a first channel of the body between, inclusively, an open position, allowing the glutinous substance to flow from an inlet of the first channel to an outlet of the first channel and a closed position, preventing the glutinous substance from flowing from the inlet of the first channel to the outlet of the first channel. The applicator further comprises an actuator, selectively operable to move the plunger such that the gate moves between, inclusively, the open position and the closed position.
PUNCHING SYSTEM
A punching system adapted to punch a sheet metal includes a platform, a punching portion, a base portion and a turret device. The punching portion is disposed on the platform, and a first upper die is detachably installed in the punching portion. The base portion is disposed between the punching portion and the platform, and a first lower die is detachably installed in the base portion. The punching portion is adapted to move back and forth along a first direction relative to the platform. The turret device is adapted to move along a second direction relative to the platform, and the first direction is perpendicular to the second direction. A plurality of second upper dies and second lower dies are correspondingly installed on the turret device.
Brushes for delivering glutinous substance to workpiece from end-effector and methods for making the same
A brush (400) for delivering a glutinous substance (168) to a workpiece (170) from an end-effector (102) is disclosed. The brush (400) comprises a body (402), having a rotational axis (438). The brush (400) also comprises a shaft (404), coupled to the body (402) and coaxial with the rotational axis (438). Additionally, the brush (400) comprises a tube (430), having a first end (411) and a second end (412), opposite the first end (411). The tube (430) comprises a first channel (408), coaxial with the rotational axis (438) and having an inlet (409) and an outlet (480). Furthermore, the tube (430) extends from the body (402) in a first direction (A) along the rotational axis (438), to the second end (412). The brush (400) further comprises bristles (420) that surround a portion of the tube (430), wherein the bristles (420) extend from the body (402) in the first direction (A).
Methods for the Production of Workpieces
A method for the production of workpieces includes positioning and holding a first plate-shaped material with a gripping device in a working region of a processing station so that the first plate-shaped material is moveable relative to a workpiece support, positioning and holding a second plate-shaped material with an additional gripping device in the working region of the processing station so that the second plate-shaped material is moveable relative to the workpiece support, producing a first workpiece part from the first plate-shaped material, positioning the first workpiece part with respect to the second plate-shaped material, connecting the first workpiece part to the second plate-shaped material or to a second workpiece part produced from the second plate-shaped material, wherein the second workpiece part is at least partially processed, and finishing the at least the second workpiece part that is connected to the first workpiece part in the processing station.
Wristband wearable fluid application device
A wristband fluid application device for applying a fluid to a surface and removing the same as necessary. The device may generally comprise a fluid applicator and a textile base member for sanitizing gym equipment, wiping windows, applying sunscreen, and the like. The fluid applicator may comprise a spray applicator. In one embodiment, the present invention may be used by gym patrons to sanitized gym equipment before and/or after use. The present invention may also be used to clean other surfaces including but not limited to household windows, vehicle windows, and the like. Additional embodiments of the present invention may also be used either to apply sunscreen on a user or as a fishing towel to clean hands and remove odor.
Welding torch electrode
An electrode includes an elongated body defining a longitudinal axis. A seating end portion includes a first truncated cone. The first truncated cone has a first truncated end and an opposing conical end. A working end portion includes a second truncated cone having a second truncated end. A constant length is defined between the opposing conical end and the second truncated end. The constant length is about 0.875 inch +/0.001 inch. The elongated body is located between the seating end portion and the working end portion.

SYSTEM FOR HANDLING DIES COMPRISING A SUPPORT AND A HANDLER
System for handling dies with a rectangular and/or arched transverse cross-section that comprises a support for placing in a removable manner dies having a rectangular transverse cross-section, the support being designed to be coupled in a sliding manner to a fixed structure, in which at least said support has fastening means for holding at least one die with a rectangular transverse cross-section vertically in the air; and a handler provided with hooking means designed to be coupled to the support to place and/or remove the support with respect to the fixed structure, the handler having coupling means to be coupled to a transelevator or similar. This system is designed to facilitate the operations of placing and removing the dies during their storage.
