Soil loosening and furrower assemblies and a bed renovator therefor
There is provided soil loosening and furrower assemblies and a bed renovator therefor. The soil loosening assembly comprises a blade assembly and wherein the blade assembly is horizontally pitched such that, when drawn beneath a soil surface at a fixed depth, the horizontally pitched blade assembly severs rootstock at the level of the blade assembly while retaining the rootstock substantially in place and loosens soil above the level of the blade assembly without substantial soil inversion. The furrower assembly comprises side plates extending rearwardly from a forward prow edge, wherein the side plates are approximately 25-45 with respect to the horizontal axis; and bottom edges of the side plates are approximately 20-40 with respect to a direction-of-travel axis.
Strip freshener
A strip freshener row implement lightly tills a strip of ground before planting. The implement has two pairs of freely rotating spike wheels that break up clods of dirt and break the top surface of the soil.

Monitoring system for an agricultural implement
A monitoring system for an agricultural implement includes a sensor configured to output a sensor signal indicative of a position of at least one scraper of the agricultural implement relative to a surface of at least one respective disc. The at least one scraper is configured to engage the surface of the at least one respective disc to remove accumulated soil from the surface of the at least one respective disc. The monitoring system also includes a controller communicatively coupled to the sensor. The controller is configured to determine an amount of wear on the at least one scraper based on the position of the at least one scraper relative to the surface of the at least one respective disc, and the controller is configured to output a wear signal indicative of the amount of wear on the at least one scraper.

Agricultural row unit for field cultivation
An agricultural row unit assembly includes a prefracture coulter positioned along a center axis of the row unit assembly and a seedbed cultivator positioned along the center axis of the row unit assembly at a location aft of the prefracture coulter. The row unit assembly also includes a rolling cultivator positioned aft of both the prefracture coulter and the seedbed cultivator, the rolling cultivator rotating about a shaft, the shaft extending between first and second ends. Additionally, the row unit assembly includes first and second gauge wheels, with the first gauge wheel being coupled to the first end of the shaft and the second gauge wheel being coupled to the second end of the shaft.

Row cleaner and row closer assemblies for strip till planters
A row cleaner connected to a strip till machine clears mulch and other debris in strip or low till planting. A row cleaner frame assembly includes a pair of row cleaner arms and a pair of clearing wheels having toe-in alignment. The pair of row cleaner arms share a common plane and are pivotally connected at a pair of pivot points common or close to the rotational axis of a cutting disc. The cutting disc is disposed intermediate the pair of row cleaner arms. The row cleaner arms are configured to maintain the clearing wheels in close-proximity to the cutting disc to provide stretch and cut row clearing operation. An actuator pivotally adjusts the row cleaner assembly relative to the cutting disc. A pivot limiter restricts pivotal travel of the row cleaner. A row closing section lever adjusts toe and/or camber of a closing wheel.

ROW CLEANER AND ROW CLOSER ASSEMBLIES FOR STRIP TILL PLANTERS
A row cleaner connected to a strip till machine and adapted to clear mulch and other debris encountered in strip or low till planting. A row cleaner frame assembly includes a pair of row cleaner arms and a pair of clearing wheels configured to have a toe-in alignment. The pair of row cleaner arms share a common plane and are pivotally connected at a pair of pivot points common or close to the rotational axis of a cutting disc. The cutting disc is disposed intermediate the pair of row cleaner arms. The row cleaner arms are configured to maintain the clearing wheels in a close-proximity to the cutting disc to provide stretch and cut row clearing operation. An actuator pivotally adjusts the row cleaner assembly relative to the cutting disc. A pivot limiter restricts pivotal travel of the row cleaner to avoid damage to the actuator. A row closing section is provided and includes a lever adapted to adjust toe and/or camber of a closing wheel.
