SERVO MOTOR CONTROLLER
To provide a servo motor controller that can quickly and effectively stop an industrial machine at a particular position even if operation speed is relatively low when a fixed position stop command is issued. The servo motor includes a speed comparison unit configured to compare speed at a time of a fixed position stop command with a first speed, a fixed position stop operation determination unit configured to determine an operation method at the time of the fixed position stop command, and a fixed position stop control unit configured to control the servo motor based on the determined operation method. When speed at the time of the fixed position. stop command is higher than the first speed, the fixed position stop operation determination unit decelerates the speed to a second speed lower than the first speed and creates a move command for stopping at a target position based on an acceleration rate during deceleration or a predetermined acceleration rate and, when speed at the time of the fixed position stop command is lower than the first speed, decelerates the speed by a predetermined deceleration rate and creates a move command for stopping at a target stop position, and the fixed position stop control unit controls the servo motor based on the move command.

A spindle device of a machine tool is provided with: a rear-side bearing and front-side bearings which rotatably support a spindle with respect to a housing; a built-in motor which is disposed around the spindle between the front-side bearings and the rear-side bearing; heat pipes which are embedded in the spindle and which transmit heat between the central part and the rear-end part of the spindle; a plurality of plate-like inner fins which are affixed to a rear part of the spindle that protrudes rearward of the rear-side bearing and which extend perpendicularly with respect to the rotation axis of the spindle; and a plurality of plate-like outer fins which are affixed to the housing and which are disposed between the plurality of inner fins in such a manner as not to contact the inner fins.

A motor controller includes: a command unit which outputs a command value for controlling a motor that drives a driven unit; a motor control unit which controls the motor based on the command value; a compensation filter which compensates for the command value; and a preprocessing unit which is provided in a stage preceding the compensation filter, the compensation filter has a frequency region in which a gain is greater than 1 and the preprocessing unit executes, when a variation in the command value before being compensated for with the compensation filter is equal to or less than a predetermined value, preprocessing in which a past command value is used as a current command value.

A turret tool holder includes an engagement means having engaging elements on a turret side and a support base side, a clutch member for transmitting a driving power to a turret drive section, and a moving mechanism. The moving mechanism includes a rotatably supported drive shaft, a first feed screw mechanism and a second feed screw mechanism rotatable in response to the rotational drive of the drive shaft for moving the clutch member and the engagement elements, and a coordination mechanism arranged between the drive shaft and the first feed screw mechanism or the second feed screw mechanism, for moving the engaging elements in response to the rotational drive of the drive shaft, with a feed amount smaller than the feed amount of the clutch member.
