The present embodiment comprise: an inner housing having an inner space formed therein; a rotation shaft assembly supported in the inner housing and having a rotor and a bearing mounted on a rotation shaft thereof; a stator disposed to surround the rotor in the inner housing; an impeller connected to the rotation shaft; an outer housing surrounding the outer periphery of the inner housing and having an inlet body, formed thereat, for guiding air to the impeller. The present embodiment is advantageous in that a heat dissipation vane is provided on the outer peripheral surface of the inner housing to guide air which passes between the inner housing and the outer housing after being suctioned into the inlet body, and thus when being guided by the heat dissipation vane, the air having been moved by the impeller can efficiently absorb heat transferred from the stator to the heat dissipation vane and more stable flow than when colliding against the stator and the rotor, and thus can be quickly discharged.

In a method for operating a machine tool, a machine-specific flow resistance and a respective tool-specific flow resistance are ascertained for various tools. Tool-specific regulator parameters for regulating a pump of a coolant lubricant device are computed on the basis of the machine-specific flow resistance and the tool-specific flow resistance of the tool chucked in a tool spindle. Subsequently, the machine tool is operated using the tool-specific regulator parameters. In this way, a rapid and exact feed of coolant lubricant to the machining point of the respective chucked tool is enabled in a simple and flexible manner.

MOTOR CONTROLLER AND MACHINE TOOL

A motor controller comprises: a motor driver arranged at a housing attached to a machine support; fan motors and arranged in or outside the housing; and a control unit. The motor driver drives motors. The fan motors blow cooling air for cooling the interior of the housing. The CPU includes a machining mode selection unit allowing selection of at least either a first machining mode of machining a machining target finely or a second machining mode of machining the machining target more roughly than in the first machining mode. If the first machining mode is selected, the machining mode selection unit exerts control to change the rotation numbers of the fan motors and so as to reduce vibration to be transmitted from the housing to the support column.

Active water cooling of gear mechanisms by means of a geometrically specially formed insert in diamond drilling devices

A drive shaft for a machine tool is connectable to a drilling tool. The drive shaft contains a cavity extending substantially over the entire length of the drive shaft and along the axis of rotation where the cavity contains an inflow opening through which water can be fed along the drive shaft into the drilling tool. An insert device is provided in the cavity, through which, to cool the drive shaft, the water is guided first in a first direction and then in a second direction where the insert device contains a first curved guide element and a second curved guide element for separating the water which is guided in the first direction from the water which is guided in the second direction. The cross-sectional area of the first curved guide element is designed point-symmetrically about a center longitudinal axis to the cross-sectional area of the second curved guide element.
