Shark fin wear bar
A shark fin wear bar includes a fin edge configured to till the soil. The fin edge is positioned to face in the same direction as the ripper point. The shark fin wear bar also includes a first part configured to abut the rear of the ripper point such that debris from tilling cannot get lodged between the two components.
TILLAGE POINT
A tillage point configured to produce a uniform subsurface soil profile. The tillage point includes a main body having a leading edge, a top surface and a bottom surface. Wing sections extend laterally from the main body.
DEEP RIPPER WITH QUICK ATTACH WINGS
The present invention comprises a ripper used penetrate and break up soil that includes a leading edge configured to decrease wear and reduce drag, while providing superior performance. The ripper is comprised of a main body, a top cap, a replaceable wing, and a bracket.
WORK TOOL ASSEMBLY FOR MACHINE AND METHOD OF OPERATING SAME
A machine system includes a machine having a work tool assembly coupled to a back machine end and including a linkage adjustable among raised, lowered, and middle linkage positions in a vertical operating range. A work tool coupled to the linkage has an angular orientation dependent upon the position of the linkage and is pivotable at a greater pivoting ratio to the raised linkage position and a reduced pivoting ratio to the lowered linkage position. The configuration enables maintaining the work tool at a desired service orientation in a ground-penetrating portion of the vertical operating range, whilst tucking the work tool at the raised linkage position to facilitate loading of the machine onto a trailer.
SWEEP ASSEMBLY FOR AN AGRICULTURAL TILLAGE IMPLEMENT
A sweep assembly for an agricultural tillage implement includes a sweep having a blade and a neck extending from the blade. The neck has a cavity configured to receive an adapter, the cavity is formed in part by a forward left contact surface, a forward right contact surface, a rearward left contact surface, and a rearward right contact surface, and the neck slopes laterally inwardly along a first direction extending from a top opening of the neck toward the blade. Furthermore, a left contact surface angle between the forward left contact surface and the rearward left contact surface is less than or equal to 60 degrees. In addition, a right contact surface angle between the forward right contact surface and the rearward right contact surface is less than or equal to 60 degrees.
Farm and agriculture equipment
Tractor implements can work the ground in a proper and efficient manner to ensure the ground is ready for planting. The tractor implements can be arranged in various, specific manners, in series behind a tractor, depending on field conditions. For example, the tractor may pull a single disc positioned ahead of each ripper disposed on a ripper implement. Behind the ripper, a roller implement may be disposed for lifting, rolling and breaking up the soil. An optional disc may be provided forward of each roller blade assembly. Behind the roller implement, one or more finishers, such as a disc, a multi-disc, a chopper, a basket, a double basket, a knife, a deflector, or the like, may be used to finish the worked soil. Soil prepared by such implements have been shown to significantly increase crop yield.
System and method for detecting bent ground-engaging shanks on an agricultural implement
An agricultural implement includes a shank assembly having an attachment section and a ground-engaging shank. Furthermore, the agricultural implement includes first and second fasteners coupling the attachment section to a frame member of the agricultural implement. Additionally, the agricultural implement includes a first load sensor configured to generate data indicative of a first load being applied to the first fastener by the shank assembly. Moreover, the agricultural implement includes a second load sensor configured to generate data indicative of a second load being applied to the second fastener by the shank assembly. In addition, the agricultural implement includes a computing system configured to determine when the ground-engaging shank is bent based on the data generated by the first and second load sensors.
RIPPER POINT WEAR INDICATOR
In an embodiment, a tillage ripper point includes a body having a nose, an upper surface, lateral sides, and a rear surface. The tillage ripper point also includes a wear indicator configured to wear in a controlled fashion and thereby indicate to a user that the tillage ripper point has reached the end of its usable lifespan.
