A spindle with intelligent auto-detection system may comprise a spindle, a shell configured for covering the spindle, a first conducting ring, a second conducting ring and at least a sensor. The spindle has a connecting section and a working section, and the connecting section is configured for connecting a power unit of a processing machine. Moreover, a tool is secured on the working section, and the sensor is positioned in an inner tube of the spindle. The first conducting ring and the second conducting ring in a recess of the shell are respectively electrically connected to the sensor and an analytical instrument. When the spindle is spinning, the sensor is adapted to measure various data of statuses of the spindle and the processing machine, and the obtained data is configured to be sent to the analytical instrument, thereby achieving monitoring effect.
Temperature estimation device and temperature estimation method
In a temperature estimation method, a rotational speed of a spindle is acquired. Moreover, a temperature rise table and a temperature fall table are used to calculate a temperature of a bearing from the rotational speed of the spindle every time a fixed time elapses. The temperature rise table stores in an associated manner the rotational speed of the spindle and a temperature rise of the bearing due to rotation of the spindle in a predetermined fixed time. The temperature fall table stores in an associated manner the temperature of the bearing and a temperature fall of the bearing due to heat dissipation in the fixed time.

Parameters such as vibration and temperature are detected by Zigbee nodes adopted in the present invention and uploaded to a Zigbee gateway. The detected data is transmitted by the Zigbee gateway to a cloud server for digital signal processing, data mining and analysis processing. After a training test of the above data is carried out by the cloud server, a health degree model is obtained. The health degree model is transmitted by the cloud server to the Zigbee gateway. A clock circuit can be used for synchronizing system time and recording time as data is recorded. For the on-line predictive maintenance of a CNC machine tool, the most rapid and accurate predictive maintenance information is provided.

A system and method for monitoring and predicting wear of a cutting tool used for machining a workpiece is disclosed. The system includes a cutting tool having a shank and a cutting head. The system also includes a split, modular and wireless wear detection system including one or more sensors mounted to the cutting tool for providing a data signal representative of a physical condition of the system, and a data recording and data transmitting device for recording the data signal from the one or more sensors and for generating and transmitting a data signal to a processor. The processor applies a machine learning data processing technique in real time to monitor and/or predict a condition of various components and/or parameters of the system during a metal cutting operation.

A woodworking spindle has a spindle shaft disposed in a spindle housing. One or more rotary bearings support the spindle shaft in the spindle housing. One or more temperature sensors are provided that detect the temperature of the one or more rotary bearings. An evaluation unit is provided and temperature signals generated by the temperature sensors are supplied to the evaluation unit that generates output signals based on evaluation of the temperature signals generated by the temperature sensors. In a method for monitoring the temperature of rotary bearings of a spindle of a woodworking machine, the temperature of the rotary bearings is permanently detected and rotary bearing temperature signals are generated. The rotary bearing temperature signals are sent to an evaluation unit and compared with a first temperature limit value. A first output signal is generated when the temperature signals reach a first temperature limit value.

A method for evaluating tool health with the temperature rising signal, applied to a machine tool that utilizes a tool to perform a removal process upon a workpiece, comprises the steps of: setting a target machining instruction; utilizing a processor to divide the target machining instruction into a residual machining instruction and a micro machining instruction; performing the residual machining instruction; without any coolant or with little coolant, performing the micro machining instruction, and having at least one thermal image sensor to detect a thermal image of a contact area of the tool and the workpiece; having the processor to derive a temperature feature by evaluating the thermal image; and, having the processor to compare the temperature feature with at least one threshold for determining the tool health.

A machine tool includes a workpiece spindle device which rotates a workpiece, a tool post which can move a tool in a first axis direction (X-axis direction) which is a radial direction of the workpiece and a second axis direction (Z-axis direction) which is an axial direction of the workpiece, and an articulated robot including a plurality of arms, a plurality of joints, and end effectors. The plurality of joints connect the plurality of arms in a rotatable manner around an axis parallel to a third axis (Y-axis) orthogonal to the first axis and the second axis, and the end effectors move in a plane parallel to a movement plane of the tool.
