METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR REMOVING STOCK MATERIAL FROM A SURFACE
Tooling is provided for mounting to a tooling plate to remove stock material from a surface based on rotation of the tooling plate about an axis. The tooling includes a backing plate and a plurality of segments. Each segment includes a bond and diamonds. The plurality of segments are secured to the backing plate such that a spacing is provided between the plurality of segments in a circumferential direction defined by an arc from a first side to a second side of the backing plate and/or a radial direction orthogonal to the circumferential direction. A method is also provided for removing stock material from a surface using the tooling.
Automatic detection system for combination burnisher, polisher, and scrubber
Multiple floor treatment operations, such as burnishing, polishing and scrubbing, may be performed using a single floor treatment machine having a motor, the speed of which is governed by a controller that responds to sensor signals indicative of the type of floor treatments pad or pads operatively coupled to the motor.
CONCRETE SURFACE MAPPING ROBOTS, SYSTEMS, AND METHODS FOR PROCESSING CONCRETE SURFACES
A concrete surface processing machine (100) for processing a concrete surface, wherein the concrete surface processing machine is arranged to be supported on the concrete surface by one or more support elements (150) extending in a base plane (101) of the machine parallel to the concrete surface, wherein the concrete surface processing machine comprises a control unit (110) connected to at least one linear photo sensor (130) extending transversally to the base plane (101), and wherein the control unit (110) is arranged to detect a height (h) of an incoming laser beam (H) relative to the base plane (101), based on a point of incidence of the incoming laser beam (H) on the linear photo sensor (130).
Quick attachment abrasive assembly for power concrete treating machines
For use with a power trowel, an abrasive assembly attachable to a rotatable arm of the power trowel that comprises a circular, rigid plate having a central hub projecting out from a first major surface and affixed to its second major surface is a ring of a resilient material. Adjacent the resilient ring is a molded plastic ring in which a plurality of permanent magnet members are imbedded at regularly spaced intervals. The plastic ring further includes at least, one boss projecting outward from a surface thereof and designed to fit within an aperture disposed in an outermost ring, which is entirely or partially of a ferrous metal and which carries a plurality of abrasive members on its outer surface. The resilient ring is fastened to the rigid plate by internally threaded tubular pins and the plastic ring is secured by screws that pass through the plastic ring into the lumens of the internally threaded tubular pins.
Wall polisher for building decoration
This invention discloses a wall polisher for building decoration of this invention, comprising a main body, a housing fixedly arranged on one end of the main body, a slot with an opening towards one end disposed in the housing, a handle fixedly set on the top end face of the main body, standing bases up and down symmetrically disposed on one end face of the main body, a pushing cushion which is fixedly connected to one end face of the main body arranged between the two standing bases; wherein the housing is attached on the rough wall surface with the handle held and the push force applied to the pushing cushion; a dust collecting device which is dismountable disposed on the bottom of the housing; wherein the dust produced during polishing is collected by the dust collecting device, which prevents the dust from spreading to pollute the environment.
METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR LEVELING AND GRINDING SURFACES
A floor leveling apparatus and method for cutting parallel grooves in a hardened body which is configured to assist in utilizing a grinder to finish surfaces in a planar manner.
Method and apparatus for applying a uniform texture to a substantially vertical surface
A surfacing apparatus supported adjacent a substantially vertical surface of a structure for applying an even and uniform texture to the surface of the structure using a selectively adjustable force exerted on a texturing means to engage the surface of the structure. The surfacing apparatus is suited for horizontal and vertical movement in controlled prescribed paths under controlled and prescribed pressure from the adjustable tensioning means.
Grinding pad apparatus
A workpiece abrading pad apparatus is provided. In one aspect, a grinding pad apparatus employs a flexible pad, a flexible metallic reinforcement layer or ring, and multiple floor-grinding disks. In another aspect, a metallic reinforcement ring includes a central hole through which a fiber or foam pad is accessible. Another aspect employs a spring steel reinforcement ring to which multiple diamond-based abrasive disks or dots are attached. In yet another aspect, at least one floor-contacting disk attached to a reinforcement ring includes sintered powdered metal with diamond particles mixed therein. A further aspect employs abrasive, floor-contacting disks or dots including posts extending from backsides thereof for attachment to a reinforcing ring or layer.
Apparatus for surface abrasion
An apparatus for abrading a surface is provided. The apparatus includes: a framework with a motor housed therein; a chassis housing a drivetrain, the drivetrain including a drive pulley operative connected to the motor, a plurality of tool assembly pulleys, a belt operatively connecting the drive pulley and the plurality of tool assembly pulleys; a plurality of tool assemblies operatively connected to the drive pulley and the plurality of tool assembly pulleys, each tool assembly including: a tool holder, a tool plate comprising a tool segment with an abrading surface, wherein the tool holder and tool plate are detachably connected by a plurality of equidistantly spaced pins, wherein the number of pins is a multiple of three.
Concrete Cleaning and Polishing Method and Solution
Systems and methods for treating concrete, which includes the steps of wetting a surface of concrete with colloidal silica, allowing time for the colloidal silica to penetrate the concrete surface, and cutting the surface of the concrete with a bladed or segmented tool wherein the longitudinal blade or edge portion is positioned approximately at an angle between 30 degrees and 90 degrees relative to the surface of the concrete.
