SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR REDUCING OR PREVENTING PLUGGING OF AN AGRICULTURAL IMPLEMENT
A system for reducing or preventing plugging of an agricultural implement includes a disk blade configured to rotate relative to soil within a field as the agricultural implement travels across the field. Furthermore, the system includes an electrode embedded within the disk blade. Additionally, the system includes a sensor configured to generate data indicative of a soil moisture content of a portion of the field and a computing system communicatively coupled to the sensor. As such, the computing system is configured to determine the soil moisture content of the field based on the data generated by the sensor. Moreover, the computing system is configured to control a flow of electricity at least one of to or from the electrode based on the determined soil moisture content such that an electric field is induced on at least a portion of a surface of the disk blade.
Cutting unit having rotatably mounted debris stripping device
A cutting unit for a disc harrow and/or a seed coulter. The cutting unit includes a cutting blade rotatably mounted about a rotation axis, and a stripping device for stripping earth accumulated on the cutting blade, wherein the stripping device has at least one stripping arm rotatably mounted about the rotation axis.
Disk blade spindle
An agricultural tillage implement includes: a frame member; and a disk blade hanger assembly. The disk blade hanger assembly includes: a disk blade hanger coupled with the frame member; a disk blade; and a spindle assembly including a spindle and a saddle member, the spindle being rotationally coupled with the disk blade, the saddle member being connected to the disk blade hanger and including a curved surface which is connected to the spindle.
Closing System for Planters and Method of Use
An row cleaner for cleaning and preparation of soil in a sequential manner as pulled in a direction of travel by a tractor. The row cleaner comprises at least a row cleaner assembly. The row cleaner assembly comprises one or more independent swing arm assemblies which are attached to and selectively rotate from a cleaning assembly frame within the row cleaner assembly. Each among the one or more independent swing arm assemblies comprises an extension arm having a proximate end and a distal end, and a cleaner assembly wheel. The proximate end rotates about a swing arm proximate axis. The cleaner assembly wheel comprise a first closing wheel assemblies and a second closing wheel assemblies. The cleaner assembly wheel rotates about a cleaning wheel axis. The cleaner assembly wheel is rotateably attached to the distal end. The cleaner assembly wheel is configured to remove debris and trash from the field.
DISK DRIVE FOR AGRICULTURAL EQUIPMENT, AND AGRICULTURAL EQUIPMENT
The present invention refers to a disk unit (200) for agricultural equipment (100) comprising a bracket (210, 220) configured to receive a profile of the agricultural equipment (100), the bracket (210) comprising an upper projection (211) and a lower projection (221); an arm (230) with an upper end (231), a lower end (232), and an upper projection (233) positioned near the upper end (231); a spring assembly (240) with a rod (241) that accommodates a spring (242), a guide (243), and a set of pressure nuts (244), the rod (241) having an upper end (241A) that is associated with the guide (243) and a lower end (241B); a disk (250) associated with the lower end (232) of the arm (230); wherein the upper projection (211) of the bracket (210, 220) is rotatably associated with the guide (243) of the spring assembly (240) and the lower projection (221) of the bracket (210, 220) is rotatably associated with the upper end (231) of the arm (230); and wherein the lower end (241B) of the rod (240) is rotatably associated with the upper projection (233) of the arm (230).
Device for processing the soil
A device for processing the soil having a frame which carries at least one processing tool and a resilient element which has a first end portion which is associated with the processing tool and a second end portion which is associated with the frame by connection devices. The connection devices have a first laminar element which is arranged in an upper position with respect to the second end portion of the resilient element and a second laminar element which is arranged in a lower position with respect to the second end portion. The connection devices further include a separator device arranged between the first laminar element and the second laminar element which is capable of forming a separation between the second end portion and the laminar elements which defines a cavity between the first laminar element and the second laminar element, inside which the resilient element can bend.
Agricultural drill/planter/coulter/disc blade with step plane notch edge
A ground engaging agricultural blade, coulter, or disc having a central opening adapted to be attached to an implement for rotation about a substantially horizontal axis of rotation; the coulter or disc have an outer periphery; and plurality of step plane notches disposed in the outer periphery. The blade can be used with a hub disposed around the central opening or a spacer spool on a shaft extending through the central openings of adjacent blades, the spacer spools extending radially outwardly by a distance.
Agricultural Implements Comprising Plugging Detection Systems and Related Methods
An agricultural implement includes a main frame having a support bar oriented in a direction generally transverse to a direction of travel when the implement is used to work a field, a plurality of rotating ground-engaging elements aligned along a length of the support bar, and a plugging detection system configured to alert an operator if one or more of the ground-engaging elements have an acceleration different from an acceleration of remaining ground-engaging elements by at least a threshold amount. The plugging detection system has an accelerometer for each of the plurality of ground-engaging elements and a control module that compares accelerometer data of each ground-engaging element to accelerometer data of the remaining ground-engaging elements. Related methods are also disclosed.
